A note to all webmasters owning a HP site out there. There is a letter that has recently been sent to many HP Fanfiction Sites. Here it is: http://www.restrictedsection.org/gfx/TheLetter.jpg It is only sent to sites supporting NC-17, or adult fanfics.

If you either read or write adult fanfics, you will notice that the letter implies people such as us aren't "genuine Harry Potter fans".

Which will explain the current problem for all HP Fans better than I can. Please remember: if you read, write, or even tolerate NC-17 stories as the work of real HP Fans, then maybe the fact that this firm can't bring themselves to do it should be cause for concern.

I personally am *very* disappointed in J.K.Rowling over this. I'd seen her, until now, as a wonderful person and a great author. After all, in her interviews (which you can find here: http://www.i2k.com/~svderark/lexicon/), she always said her only wish would be to give humans more tolerance, and make this world a better place.

She's not sticking to her own ideals.

Allow me a moment to laugh. I know Gryffindors have a quality that's wonderful: sticking up for what they believe is right. Better and more openly than anyone else. And always, too.

J.K.Rowling has not only disappointed me, she's proven she's no Gryffindor - and for a person who thinks it's the best House, that should be food for thought.
