Hi,
My real name is James, and I'm from Staffordshire, and the midlands, England. Yeah. That rainy place. Anyway, more about me. There isn't much to say really. I like the kind of music my mates at school have never even heard of, like the Eagles, Fleedwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, e.c.t. I play guitar myself, and write songs with a crazy, mad haired guy called Dan. I love reading, obviously, and love writing. There have been many times in my younger days when I'd start writing my 'new book', become bored with it in the first few paragraphs and scrap it.
I'm currently 15, and have GCSEs coming up VERY soon. SCARY!! Not really enjoying the whole revising thing. Waste of time learning 'simultaneous equations' if you want to be a writer or musician. Remind me to stop moaning. Everyone says I do it too much.
ANYWAY, to the only really exciting thing about my life: BOOKS. I love Trudi Canavan, worship Tolkien, Scott Lynch (lies of Locke Lamora, FANTASTIC BOOK), Steven Erikson, Paul Stuart, a little Steven King, Tad Williams, Jonathan Stroud, Christopher Paolini, Sean Russel and Robyn Young. When I was younger I adored Enid Blyton and Michael Morpurgo. Fantasy is my preferred genre, but, in the case of Christine (Steven King), I do like the occasional 'normal' novel.
On to film, then: Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Iron Man, Stardust, Rush Hour, Star Wars, The Matrix trilogy, Airplane, Faulty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Stargate Altantis, Doctor Who, the Terminators, Fifth element and the Naked Gun.
