Hi! I'm Kysis, 24, originally from Germany, now in the USA. I have a BA in Creative Writing and a minor in Film, and I work as an English tutor at the university level. I love cinema, I love books, and I love writing, so it's a great combination. I am an ML for NaNoWriMo and Script Frenzy, and serve on the Board of Directors for a local writing non-profit as their specialist in social media. I've been in a few tv shows and movies, am trying to get back into stage acting, all the while pursuing my writing career, which has definitely gotten me somewhere lately.

The stories I write on here are more often than not expansions of the canon, where I see gaps that could have been given more detail, more depth, and I latch on it, which is how The Memory of Falling began. Other times, I enjoy certain characters, and I want to see if I can master them in prose. Sometimes I get it right off the bat, other times I seriously need to practice. This is what my fanfic account is for... though lately I am taking requests on my tumblr account and writing those. I've always enjoyed writing to a prompt.

Feedback, criticism, encouragement, it is all appreciated. However, telling me what to write, how you interpret something a different way from me in an argumentative way (I am fine with friendly discussion) or outright flaming is not appreciated. Thus why I do not allow anonymous comments.

I haven't really written fanfic in forever, what with a book deadline breathing down my neck and my other writing projects, paired with my duties in both non-profits I work with. However, a certain someone (Chaos) has resparked my interest in fanfic, so you might see something now and then.

Don't bug me for more stuff. I'll just stop updating all together. Seriously.
