Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Sweeney Todd. Here's just a few of my favourites which may give you an idea as to the kind of person you're dealing with: FAVOURITE FILMS: Gone With the Wind, Harry Potter series, Pirates of the Caribbean series, Hot Fuzz, Around the World in 80 Days (2004), anything Marx Brothers, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, Clue, Murder By Death, Sleepy Hollow, Willy Wonka/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (like both Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp equally), Educating Rita, Billy Elliot, Nanny McPhee films, Marie Antoinette, The Duchess, Amadeus, Titanic, Ice Age films, Toy Story films, virtually anything Disney (minus the few poor sequels to classics), Peter's Friends, Dead Again, Ladies in Lavender, Love Actually, The Stepford Wives (2004) FAVOURITE MUSICALS Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Les Misérables, Fiddler on the Roof, Singin' in the Rain, Oliver!, Annie (1982 only. Sorry Kathy Bates, but there is only one Miss Hannigan and it's Carol Burnett), Carousel, Sweeney Todd, Hairspray (2007), The King and I FAVOURITE ARTISTS ABBA, Blondie, Madness, T-Rex, Steeleye Span, The Carpenters, Glenn Miller (surely he counts as an artist), Anything Classical, Musical Music (Broadway/West End) FAVOURITE SITCOMS One Foot in the Grave, Hi-De-Hi!, Mrs. Brown's Boys, Fawlty Towers, Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, Keeping Up Appearances, I'm Alan Partridge, Blackadder, Not the Nine O'Clock News, Men Behaving Badly, dinnerladies FAVOURITE COMEDIANS Lee Evans (unbelievably hilarious), Michael McIntyre (whether or not he intends to be as funny as he is, he only has to smile and I laugh), Alan Carr (campest comedian on TV, but no less funny), Jason Manford (very funny and rarely swears. Probably adds to his charm), John Bishop (enough said), Victoria Wood (what can I say of this woman? She's too talented.) FAVOURITE ACTORS Alan Rickman, Johnny Depp, Bill Nighy, Rhys Ifans (I found his performance in Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang to be very entertaining), Ralph Fiennes (so what if he's the ultimate baddie as Voldemort? His character isn't so awful in The Duchess and I think he proves himself at the very end), Kenneth Branagh, Stephen Fry, Steve Coogan, Hugh Laurie FAVOURITE ACTRESSES Josie Lawrence, Julie Walters Emma Thompson, Imelda Staunton, Dame Maggie Smith, Dame Judi Dench, Glenn Close | |||||||
