Hello all,

I am a 28 (I know! Don't judge me! :P) year old (female) graphic artist working for a rather large state university, and I do freelance illustration work on the side.

I'm primarily an artist and a heavy reader. I'm beginning to dabble in writing, but there IS a bit of a learning curve involved in switching from an artist's mindset to that of an author. ;) I'm giving it a shot! Comments and suggestions on my writing style are always welcomed and appreciated.

I majored in electronic art and Japanese in college with a side order of printmaking and Asian studies.

These are a few of my favorite things!:

Harry Potter - Snape, Lucius, Harry, Tonks, and to some degree, Draco

Lord of the Rings - Legolas, Gimli, Elladan, Elrohir, Glorfindel, Elrond

Weiss Kreuz - Brad Crawford! Aya, Schuldig

Fullmetal Alchemist - Roy! Ed, and Ling

Slayers - Xelloss! Loves me some Xelloss! Lina, Luna, Milgrasia (I know that one's a bit random - long story ;)

Bleach - Ichigo, Renji, All the captains, really.

I'm not at all a fan of schmoopy romance or shipping. It's just not my thing. I'm probably the least girly straight girl in existence. XD Please don't assume I'm going to "ruin" my own story with lovey-dovey crap just because of my gender. I'll either be offended or laugh at you if you PM with something along those lines. ;) If I HAD to pick a Naruto/Girl pairing, I'd have to go with Naruto/Temari. Temari is awesome.

Senju Naruto's status: I am still working on the rewrite, and continuing to write new chapters of this story from where I've left off. I assure you, it's not dead. I apologize for leaving you all hanging for so long. I'm hopeful that I'll have the next chapter or two up soon from the buffer of older chapters I had prewritten before I stopped posting. At this point I'm just trying to build up a buffer of new chapters so I don't have to make you all wait for ages between chapters again.

Please note that I DO allow anyone who requests permission to use events and concepts from this story, so please don't pick on authors with similar ideas to mine or those who give "Senju Naruto" credit in their author's notes. It is in no one's best interest to stifle creativity and everyone benefits from more fic, right? :) As fanfiction authors, we're all already playing in someone else's sandbox anyway. That being said, I have not, and never will, give permission for chunks of my text to be lifted verbatim or mostly verbatim from "Senju Naruto" while leaving the story entirely uncredited. I do not condone anyone claiming someone else's creative works as their own. If you run across stories that are nearly word for word from "Senju Naruto" and feel obligated to do something about it, please handle it by leaving the author a note letting them know my wishes on this matter. I'm kind of frustrated that I've noticed two or three stories that fall into this category in the last month alone.

Many of you have asked me to do artwork for your stories, and I'm very flattered! Unfortunately, as much as I'd love to, I don't have time to do something for everyone who asks on top of my own story and art (not to mention RL, family, friends, work...), and my paying customers might get a bit peeved if I started doing a lot of work for other people without my usual fees. I am extremely appreciative for your interest, and you are always welcome to send me requests, but I'm afraid I can't make any promises unless you are willing to pay my commission fee. A girl's got to eat...and pay for her shinies. XD

Many of you have contacted me with commission inquiries - Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately, at this time, my commission queue is entirely full, as is my waiting list. You may, of course, still contact me with requests, but I don't take professional projects unless I can be entirely certain they can be done within a two-week maximum waiting period. My professional quality work is much more polished than what you see in my profile and therefore, far more time consuming. This makes it necessary to limit the number of projects I take at any given time to insure that level of quality. My free time is pretty scrunched as it is since I can only work on freelance pieces after my normal full-time, day job. I also need time to work on my own creative pursuits and artwork, or I get burnt out. ;) Once I clear some room in my schedule, I will remove this message. Thank you for understanding. :)
