I'm Alz. I'm an Australian with a birthday in July and I've spent a fair bit of time playing about in fandoms.
I've been a member since 2002 and over the years wrote for Gundam Wing, YuGiOh, Orphen, The Pretender, Rurouni Kenshin, Outlaw Star, Weiß Kreuz, Fruits Basket and then eventually tried my hand at House M.D and Supernatural. The fandoms treated me well, but my writing was long past its expiry date.
I owe a lot to FF.net for really introducing me to fanfiction and fandom in general. It's been a total blast, the 'flames', the Mary Sues and the horror of FF.net standards in general. It's been crazy-fun and I'm utterly glad and thankful for those of you who sent me reviews YEARS after I stopped updating fics to beg me to finish them.
I have now taken down all fanfiction posted before this year.
(I have kept a copy of what I have written for those that I have deleted, and some notes as to where I wanted to go with them and would be happy to email them out to people who really liked the fic, or even if they would like to continue and finish it.)
I am so, so sorry for those who truly enjoyed my (terrible) writing and who wished to see The End for those many chaptered works. Thank you all to those who read my stuff, dropped me a line, demanded marriage.
