My name is Melanie (but I go by Lanie), and I live in southern United States. I have blue/grey eyes and black hair, and am 5'8".

I'm a straight female who loves yaoi, and as you can probably tell from my stories my two all-time favorite pairings are Sasuke/Naruto and Riku/Sora. I'll read a few Naruto/Sasuke fics, but it has to be a really good story, as I just don't see Naruto as seme. (That's just my opinion.) I am currently a beta for Sephirothlover845 (she rocks! And her fics are fantastic!) and am also in the process of co-writing a Kingdom Hearts fanfic with her. I also beta for two incredibly talented authors, Chocoboshead and lilbakasaru; their stories are awesome, check them out!

I only got into yaoi seriously about two years ago, I was actually looking for sites for Inuyasha and came across fanfiction.net. And -- to which I'll never again admit -- I was reading Sasuke/Sakura fics on here when I came across a SasuNaru. I can't even remember the title to the story, but that one story got me hooked!

I love playing video games, all Final Fantasy titles and Kingdom Hearts are my absolute favs, as well as Devil May Cry and Resident Evil, making jewelry, messing around on my computer and driving my brothers crazy(haha!). I absolutely hate chickflicks, my favorite movies are horror and action movies such as Blade, Underworld (I love vampire movies), Transformers, all Resident Evil movies, both the Alien and Predator series, and anything with Jet Li. I love to read(obviously), my room is full of books and magazines. Anyone who loves yaoi, I highly recommend reading Jet Mykles' stories, especially her 'Heaven Sent' series. It's some of the best and hottest yaoi I've ever read!
