Dear Readers of Overcoming Prejudice,

I can’t continue with this story. At least not for a while. I know, I’ve become just another person who hasn’t finished their story, and probably never will. I’m cutting off your enjoyment – if you did enjoy my story – and I just feel horrible, I do.

But my issue isn’t just a simple “I don’t want to continue.” It’s that I feel as if I can’t. I’ve worked hard on this story, I have, but I’ve also grown with my writing the whole time. It’s come to the point where I cringe at the beginning of this story. I’m blocked by embarrassment because I know I could’ve done so much better. There is a lot that needs fixing in this story, I’m sad to say, and my belief is that it’s going to stop me from going forward until I go back and fix it. I’ve been battling this feeling for a few weeks, and now I feel like it’s time I’ve told everyone that I can’t continue. Someday I’ll come back to it, and I’ll maybe even PM my more faithful readers about this in the hopes that you still travel on FFNET. If you don’t come back when I come back myself, I understand. But I just want to let everyone know because you deserve hearing about this. You’ve all brought me here and kept me going. I don’t think I can express my gratitude more.

And this might peeve a lot of people, but I’ve got other ideas I’m going to work on too. I think it’s time I’ve given up on this story for a little and gone on to something that I’ve been fiddling with. Maybe you’ll enjoy it, and maybe you won’t. But I hope you give it a chance, because I really, really value everyone’s input.

All right, I think this’ll have to be the end of the letter. I feel as if I should tell you so much more, but there’s nothing I have left to say. If you have any questions or comments, I’d really appreciate a PM instead of a review. I have an OCD issue about the reviews being about anything other than a written chapter that contributes to the story. o.O
