Author has written 45 stories for Harry Potter, Stargate: SG-1, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, Alex Rider, Dragon Age, Yu-Gi-Oh, Final Fantasy VII, and Ghost Rider. Name: Fan O' Fanfic the Wise and Malevolen- Benevolent. Age: 18 Sex: Female. Although for some reason I have been mistaken for a man twice. (From behind mind you) I think it has something to do with being six foot tall... I will start off by saying that firstly, I don't like these bio things. I never really know what to write. Secondly, I'm half convinced that no-one reads them anyway, so I suppose it shouldn't be too much of a faux-pas if I do end up writing something daft. A little about me: I'm British and pround of it. And yes, I do drink lot's of tea. I come from a largeish town in the south east where it's been made (in)famous for the serial killer who murdered several prostitutes before finally being caught. Stabbings are quite common, as are jewelry robberies. (One shop had three in a single year) I love my hometown. I am currently studying Criminology at university and will often be found lounging in the campus library, looking up pictures of gunshot wounds and blunt force traumas' or sitting in my pig-sty of a room in my flat, frantically typing up whatever assignment I've left until the last minute. My writing style depends on what exactly it is I am writing, although I tend towards an odd sort of bluntness, mixed in with flowery language. I see these fics where characters overreact to the slightest thing, or react in a cliche but 'expected' manner. E.g. 'Scary' women who browbeat their men, clueless authority figures or the over lovable teenage angst. *cough*HarryPotter*cough* I, oddly enough, never got to sample the joys of teenage angst. Nor mood swings or the 'boy crazy' phase or anything else teen related. My freinds are both jealous and all to amused by this. I try (Although, I don't know if I suceed) to do the oposite of this and write reactions as I would react if I was in that situation. That's probably why some of my characters reactions may be a trifle odd... But I digress. I often play the 'devils advocate' when reading fics. This is both a good and a bad thing. Although I don't mind bashing fics, I generally only read them for light reading, or something to put my mind at rest, not to stir up any deep thoughts on the meaning of life, or why Liverpool keep missing out on the cup. I am a nerd. In pretty much every sense of the word. Nothing more needs to be said. Although I never thought on it before, my housemates have branded me a cynical, self depreciating and generally 'glass half empty' individual. I was under the impression I was rather positive, at least when I comes to the outcome of something. However, I do admit I am most definitly cynical when it somes to dealing with anything to do with people. I don't know why. There has been no dramatic, life changing event that makes me think this way, and my parents weren't like that (my dad still isn't), nor is my brother. (He seems to be one of those people who thinks it's their duty to help out, and simply cannot say no. Honestly, i'm fifteen years younger, and I still feel protective of the great lug.) If anybody has managed to read this far without either scrolling frantically down to get to the good stuff, or mashing the back button, I commend you. I have also stolen a minute or so of your life that you aren't going to get back. Come and get it. See what happens.
