It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it. You remember -Step by Step -Family Matters -Dinosaurs -Boy Meets World You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. You remember reading "Goosebumps" You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . . not. When everything was settled by -rock paper scissors or -bubble gum bubble gum in a dish or -ms. mary mack. When kick ball was a daily activity. When we used to obey our parents or get a smack if you were naughty. You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time on a tape. You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular. You remember The Original Game Boy. You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny. You remember watching -The Magic School Bus -Wishbone -Reading Rainbow -and Ghostwriter on PBS You remember when Yo-Yos were cool. You remember those Where's Wally books. You remember eating Warheads and Splashers Gum. You remember watching -the 1st Batman -Aladdin -Ninja Turtles -ghost busters You remember Ring Pops. If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!" You remember boom boxes .vs. cd players. Making those little paper fortune things, and then predicting your life with them. You played and/or collected "Pogs" You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere. One word. . . . . . . .trolls. Windows 95 was the best. You watched the original cartoons of -Rugrats -Wild Thornberry's -Power Ra ngers -Rocket Power. All your school supplies were pink and sparkly or camo print. You collected those Beanie Babies. Carebears Lambchop's song never ended. Silver dollars, which were cool to have. Everyone watched the WB. If you even know what an original walkman is. You know the Macarena by heart. "Talk to the hand" . . . enough said. You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace. You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground. Before the MySpace frenzy . . . Before the Internet & text messaging . . . Before Sidekicks & iPods . . . Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360 . . . Before Spongebob . . . Before Tupac was shot. When light up sneakers were cool. When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs. When petrol was 85p a gallon. When we recorded stuff on VCRs. You had slap bracelets! You Actually played outside until it was dark! Way back. Before we realized all this would eventually disappear. Post this in your bulletin if you remember these days . . . . I'm 16 and I feel old reading this. Sad huh? My favourite fics are: Harry Potter: Harrycentric, Dark!Harry and (non-slash, there are never enough of these) Creature!Harry, there are others i like but these my very favourites. I do however love Stargate Sg1 and Harry Potter crossover fics. Not usually the Daniel turning out to be Harry plotline but most of the others. Alex Rider: I don't read as much of this at the moment but i like fics where people find out about who he is and what he does. I like the reaction some authors give people! Teen Titans: I don't read much of this either any more but i like stories with Beastboy as the main character. I have no idea why, i just think he is cool and never gets anough credit. Ironman: It was just a fad i went through when i saw the movie. Matrix: Also just a fad but the films are still awesome and Keanu Reeves is hot. ;) Ghost Rider: One more, a fad but the guy who plays Blackheart is sexy. Mmmm... evil... I think thats it. More will probably come. My favourite pairings are: Harry Potter: Anything that isn't a Mary-Sue, Slash or Ginny. I like HarryHermione, HarryTonks and HarryLuna the best though i think. Alex Rider: Cannon is ok, i still hate Mary-sues. All other catagories i can think of at the moment: Ditto. This is a list of my Alphabetical One-shots. COMPLETED D is for Disloyalty – A traitor surveys the morbid scene he is responsible for and breaks. E is for Elimination – She was just doing what was needed. She loved him really, he just couldn’t know it. F is for Fallen – They thought they were rid of him. He came back. G is for Greatness – Minerva McGonagall knew Harry Potter was destined for greatness. She watched as he fulfilled that destiny. H is for Happiness – Luna never thought she could be truly happy. She was pleased to be proved wrong. I is for Inspiration – Hermione inspires Harry to write a song. J is for Judas – When Voldemort storms Hogwarts during the Halloween feast. A traitor reveals himself. K is for Kamikaze – Draco Malfoy was never thought to be brave, selfless or in any way Gryffindor. He proves himself when it counts the most. L is for Liberation – When Sirius died that night at the Ministry, he was set free. M is for Martyr – Harry sacrifices himself for what he believes is right. N is for Numbers – Harry thinks on the numbers of the war. O is for Oppression – Harry has a vision of what will happen should he fail. P is for Purity – When Harry takes a walk in the grounds at night he finds something that gives him new resolve to end the war. Q is for Quarry – He is the predator and they are the prey. The tables have finally been turned. R is for Rook – Sometimes even the best strategist has to make sacrifices. S is for Semantics – Snape is trying to decide what side he should take. Something happens that cements his choice. T is for Trepidation – Harry is nervous about asking his girlfriend to marry him. He gets a helping hand. U is for Uplift – Harry finds something that helps with the stress and uplifts his soul. V is for Vice – She was addiction, his dependence, his one and only vice. W is for Worth – Harry argues his case about being a part of the war effort. X is for Xenophobia – Harrys is reunited with the Dursleys after the final battle. Y is for Yield – Neither of them would ever surrender, settle for half of yield to the other. It was to the death. Z is for Zenith – Harry takes a walk around the Hogwarts grounds one night.
