Author has written 6 stories for Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Star Fox.

Profile Has up date? (6/26/08)

A Sonic the Hedgehog fan from way back I tend to write and read in those section. Though I do go for the occassional Zelda, Pokemon, or Neopet stories too.

My main focus right now is "Mending the Tear", which I am currently working on. After that I will probably be done with StH fanfic for awhile.

Importance of Profiling (Dos and Don't):

Do:
Be brief (Long means people won't read).
Tell people about yourself.
Explain why writing is important to you, how long you've been doing it.
Keep it within the community of the writing forum (Blogs were created for the other stuff).
Link to your pages of other works, and thoughts.
Tell what you are working on and when you plan on releasing it.

Example of Do
(Fanchars are bioed, but he includes stories they are in, makes all the difference)
(Stories come before self)

Tolerable / Depends on how it is done:

List completed projects (If they're on the website, they are below. If you put it in, first would be a good bet.)
Pairing beliefs (Careful not to include fan chars. Leave some surprise for the reader.)
List your fan characters (Be breif, only include a few of the important ones.)

Example of Tolerable: Look around...

Don't:
Use online speak.
Go on rants of your personal beliefs (Once again, Blog).
List completed projects (Helloooo... they are under your profile, just put complete in summary).
Put song lyrics in there (Just say you like this song people know the lyrics, and if they don't they can it, they aren't dumb.)
Tell people to read your stories. (They will read if they feel like it.)

Example of Don't
(Breaks all these rules and then some.)
(The profile is longer then all his stories COMBINED)
(Hurts my English sensors)
(His personal beliefs fill the page, and they fluctuate alot, (used to hate yaoi and was all Christian about it, now likes it again))
(Ends with telling the reader to read his stories or threatens their life. In jest probably, but still poor taste.)

Answering the Critics:
(I would like to thank SonicRules12 for being one of the best overall reviewers of my fics, he makes good points, but they are usually suggestions toward me and point out plot points). Big props to SR12!

In the road of fan fiction you'll get these, since certain things have been established you have to come up with reasons for what happens in your story if it goes again a placed norm. And I finally got one, so this is where I'll respond to worthy criticism, congrats to those that made it here for stepping back and thinking, that is always welcome for me:

Xero Reflux Strike wrote: "good fic... need 2 b longer"

Response: NORMALLY, I wouldn't even acknowledge such a review, but because it was so short (ironically it also needed 2 b longer) I did a little research on this author, and came across something very intreging. In a story by the author Tarston called Dead Eternity XRS wrote the following "...Lastly, Length does not matter! Update frequency does not matter! A good fic is one that makes the reader interested and keeps them interested!" Well said, so now if my fic is 'good' why does it need to be 'longer'? Length doesn't matter right? Congrats for making yourself look like an idiot.

Toby Jenkins (Xero Reflux Strike) wrote: "your story sucks really bad so you can go get a fuckin life"

Response: It seems my response (above) offended said recipient so he decided to make an autonomously review bashing my fic (in a very dumb way) with the name Toby Jenkins. He thought he was cleaver by not having the gaul to sign in to attack me, and thought I wouldn't figure it out, but I confirmed who he really was through the email address attached to his anonymous name.

Verrry clever.

I obviously hit some sort of mark if you're going to such trouble. Sure, I may not have a life, but at least when I confront someone, I leave my signature. I'll let you post all the reviews you want, because they make you look stupid for one, and I see more reviews as a positive thing, even if they are useless flames. If worse comes to worse, I'll click the delete button, which won't take as long as you processing how to use a 2nd grade insult on someone. This will be my last acknowledgment of you... even though I don't have a life, you're really not that important.

FinalFCloud wrote: "has no-one here played sonic 3 and knuckles in which tails was only able to obtain his super form with all 14 emeralds (7 chaos,7 Super)"

Response: This is a great point and one I've pondered for quite awhile while writing this. The thing is Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the only official thing written that makes reference to 'Super Emeralds'(Maybe Archie does, but never got into Archie). This is one of the reasons I think I should have done the adaptation first, because in the way I process the events Tails is only active with Sonic between the final part of Marble Gardens to the end of Launch Base, then Sonic goes solo for the rest, at Sally's request. So my first counter to that argument is that the 'super emeralds' were just used for gameplay purposes.

My second counter theory is that the Chaos Emeralds cannot give their power to those that are too young to handle it, so the child must be exposed to the more powerful extensions (the super emeralds) in order for there to be an effect. Sonic and Knuckles were both old enough so that the Chaos Emeralds were adequate to go to super form at that time, while Tails was too young. 'Selim' is 20, so he can use the Chaos Emeralds now that he's older. (This one is kinda shoddy though, since Sonic Heroes let Tails go Super with the chaos emeralds at age 8 but mixing old Sonic Team and new Sonic Team is dangerous)

Keep those criticisms coming, I wanna see if someone can throw me. That would be fun.

Description: For stories where Tails is the main character or 'morale center'.

Requirements:
5 positive reviews (Mediocre ones count as a half a good one)
(different people; Must be signed; user logged in prevents same
person from appearing like 5 different people).

Tails has to be the main character as before mentioned.

Note that I don't have to like the fic that goes into my group, as long as it meets the requirements.

Have a story that qualifies? Email me with subject line
"A Tale of Tails". In the email please put the link of the story an it
will be looked over. If it meets the requirements it'll go in.

Want to be a staff member?
Email me with subject line "I Wanna Fly". In the email you should say
why you'd like the job, you should at least have a StH fanfic or have
reviewed many fanfics if applicant doesn't write their own. Give their
member name, of course and some of the stories applicant reviewed.
Don't fret too much, I'm not that picky. If accepted I'll give you some
guidelines to follow, not too many, (like don't put in non-Tails fics).

Where is this community? For some reason it hasn't shown up in the Sonic section, so go to this address: http:www.fanfiction.net/c2/4750/0/1/. See you there.

Additionally:

I would like to thank all the Sonic fans here for making my group the #1 subscribed group in the C2 Sonic section. Don't know how I did it, because I didn't really do too much.
