My name is Yvanna Irie, but you can call me Vanna or Van.

I'm identifiably between 12 and 21. I'm Virgo, so be prepared, I'm known for breaking into violent fits of rage when annoyed. And oh boy, do I get easily annoyed.

My motherstongue is Finnish (oh yeah, I come from Finland btw) but I speak nearly understandable English, so it's unlikely I'll ever write anything in Finnish. As soon as I get my bilinguality exams done, I'll erase the Finnish part alltogether.

I love to read. Honestly, love. I carry a book everywhere I go. (Right now sloooowly working my way through the Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stround) I also love to draw. The sketchpad is always next to the book in my bag. I draw kinda-furries (think Sega and Sonic the Hedgehod) with a twist.
Manga? Are you kidding, I live for manga! Especially One Piece! No really, I'm convinced that Oda-sensei is god! I read mostly shonen, but I keep an open mind.

Music. Oh yes. My taste for music varies greatly, from Apocalyptica to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Along with RHCP, my fav bands are Poets of the Fall, Linkin Park, Kent and Don Johnson Big Band. I also like Papa Roach, Depeche Mode, Lost Prophets, Foo Fighters, Scooter... Wow, the list is endless. Well, basically Rock, Alternative, Techno and some R'n'B. I also fave five particular woman soloists over all. Not to mention OST music, my writing drug.

Art. Art, art, art. I study in art line (painting, drawing, movie analysing, art history. Lovely.) and as I said, I draw ALL. THE. FREAKING. TIME. If I don't spend my days writing or drawing or reading, I'm most likely found in deviantArt oggling how amazingly superb some people just are. I wish I was as good as them. But I'm not. Oh well. So I'm an art fan. It inspires me, gives me hope and brightens my mood.

(I'm also a closet wrestling fan. But don't tell anyone, shhhh!!)

Writing is one of the five reasons I haven't killed myself yet. (Other four are coffee, chocolate, slash and friends) I'm an angstbunny and a sadist, expect deathfics and OOC-angst. And I'm a slasher through and through, prepare for suggestiveness and pretty gay boys all over each other ;D My OTP is ZoSan (because Oda-sensei secretly fanboys them too). Other favourites are Reeve/Vincent (FF7), which is probably my favourite to write, too, and Jack/Ianto (Torchwood) my first TV/liveaction pairing that opened the doors to more TV slash! Other adorations are Reno/Rufus (FF7), Wolfwood/Vash (Trigun), Jecht/Auron (FF10), MasaYuki (Sengoku Basara), Snake/Otacon and apparently anything involving Ocelot (Metal Gear) and almost any pairing from Fairy Tail since that series is so extremely slashable.
(Wrestling, too. I'll be hard-pressed to reveal my pairings, though.)

Yuri and shojo-ai? Well heck, why not? I'm "anything goes" anyway, I never saw anything bad in girl-love, and never will. But it's unlikely that I'll ever write any, it just feels too weird. My fave pairings are Riza/Reiri (Kaibustu Oujo), Shion/Mion (Higurashi no naku koro ni) and Yuffie/Shelke (FF7).

And for fairness' sake, het, which is not my thing. I barely read it and the only pairings I officially ship are LuNa and Boss/Sorrow and a pairing from my friend's comic... and that's it o.o I guess I'm a bit of a heterophobe.
