About Me

Well, my name is Alex Martin, but I go by the Pen Name of A J Martin. I was born in England, in the County of Kent (the Garden of England as it's known, for those of you who have never been), where I continue to reside. I consider myself an aspiring novelist, with a view to becoming a professional full- time writer.

When I'm not glued to my keyboard bringing new characters and worlds to life, I spend my time working in an office, inputting data into a computer, where the work tries its hardest to subdue all creativity and imagination.

I have written one original novel, being part one of a trilogy of three, and am working on the other two as I try to get the first published. I have also penned many short fan - fiction stories for Star Trek, which, after thoughts of getting these published by the official publishers for the franchise, I have now decided to open up for readers on fanfiction.net. Most of these stories are unfinished as I write, but the endings have played out in my head, and I will finish them all, adding a chapter as fast as I can put pen to page. Or Finger to cheap plastic key, in this case.
