Author has written 9 stories for Bones, Mentalist, and Leverage. One thing that has always pissed me off is the quantity of women characters on television that never get a break. They only serve to offset their much more dynamic and intelligent male costar. Examples include Dani Reece on Life, Alex Eames on Law and Order: Crimintal Intent, Foster on Lie To Me, any woman on House, and frequently, Lisbon on The Mentalist. I admire shows that feature strong women characters with their own story lines, whose decisions influence the plot, like Bones or NCIS. That's probably the reason I started writing, so that I could control the opportunities a character gets, instead of the chauvinistic TV-land Powers that Be! | |||||||
