Author has written 6 stories for Mega Man, and Breath of Fire. I decided that I needed to write something better for my profile page in case anyone ever reads it. Because, you know, my old one was kinda embarrassing and made me look like an over-aggressive brat or something. Very much not the mature and easy-going attitude I'm trying to project. Right! About me. I'm a seventeen-year-old Australian girl, who is currently studying at uni. I'd very much like to go overseas again, because the place where I live is (contrary to the popular Australian stereotype) absolutely bloody freezing. Seriously. I've experienced a Tokyo winter (which I guess probably isn't that cold on the global cold scale, but hey), and I can honestly say that here is ten times worse. Anyways. Enough whining about the weather. I enjoy playing video games, reading books and manga, and watching anime every now and then. My favourite games would probably be Ocarina of Time and Breath of Fire II, but The World Ends With You, Golden Sun, Earthbound and Rockman ZX are also pretty high on the list. The very awesome Chrono Trigger's also been added to my list after I bought the new DS remake. Quite a variety, but they're also all on Nintendo systems because I don't own anything else. Oh well. My favourite author is Fiona McIntosh, who wrote the awe-inspiring Quickening series. If you haven't read it and you like fantasy, go read it now. Or not, if you don't want to, but yeah, her books are incredible. Uh . . . what else to write? I don't know. I don't write romance fics, because I suck at it. I tried a few times, for school projects and whatnot, but it always feel weird and I'm not that keen on reading it anyway, so why bother? My personal opinion on most things is plot before romance, except when it comes to romance stories where the romance is the plot, and so it still applies. And I also take the view that there's more than enough badly written romance fics on the Net without me contributing to it. I tend to write one-shots because I always forget where the story's going with multiple-chapter works. Unfortunately, that's why both Resonance and Forgotten Saviour are on hiatus, and I'm considering taking them both off because I don't know if I'll ever get back to them. I need to play Breath of Fire III more before I can do anything about Resonance, and it's just not as fun as I thought it would be, especially compared to Breath of Fire II. I don't know, I just really liked I and II, but from III onwards it just started going downhill. I haven't played IV yet, and have no intention of playing Dragon Quarter. I and II were swords, dragons and magic, which is great, so why did the others have to bring technology into it? Oh well. Different people have different interests, and I'm sure there are others who hated the first two and love the later games. I'm also working on a novelisation of Breath of Fire II with all of its quirks and story arcs, which I'm not going to post until it's completely finished so that if I lose interest in it for a while, people here aren't left waiting for updates that might not come for months. Ryu and co. have reached Capitan and are about to go down into the well, but I don't often update my FFnet profile page either, so they may have gotten further if anyone's reading this at a later stage. Is anyone reading it? I'm curious. Okay, that'll do for now. See ya! Kestre. Random Quote of the Time-Until-I-Decide-To-Update-It: "To look into the Abyss is to know that the Abyss looks into you." - Atsuki from Lux-Pain. Well, roughly, anyway. It's changed slightly to be more coherent, because the game isn't. DISCLAIMER: Just in case I forget to put it on any of my fics, which is highly likely considering the general state of my memory, here's a disclaimer. I do not own anything except my own original ideas and fics. I write because I enjoy writing about the various games, books and series that I like, not because I expect to make any profit out of it. All material that I use belongs to their respective companies. | |||||||||||
