Hi...I'm glad you dropped by probably curious as to who Laurensis is. Well that's me.. Ray. I would like to think that I could best describe myself as someone from the Philippines by birth, German by citizenship currently living in London.

I always have been interested in writing as much I have for reading. For the longest time I use to dabble with poetry. It is only lately (since about a year ago) that I have plucked up my courage to try and put my stories into paper. I also do speak a couple of languages aside from English. Certainly Pilipino (which is the official language of the Philippines as opposed to Tagalog which is "merely" a dialect but is often times mistaken as the official language), of course German, I have to admit my French and Spanish are in need of propping up. My italian as well as my Portuguese in dire need of improvement :-))

Travelling is also a great interest of mine as well as Architecture (Baroque and Roccoco), Dance (I used to do classical ballet), Culture and Photography...and last but not least ancient Greek and Roman History. Psychology fascinates me endlessly too and so does my favourite pair of all time Alexandros and Hephaistion.

I would like to state that I am honoured and proud to be in the company of such good writers as Tribal Shimmy, Lysis, Kizzykat, Elpis of Hope, Coral Dawn, Evave, Baliansword and Moon71. I can only hope to be creative and imaginative as they are. Cheers to them!!
