I'm a newbie to fanfiction, only discovering it this year through the Wraith Defenders Club thread at Gateworld.

Reading many others has given me the incentive to put some of my ideas into an actual story. Writing my own has given me a much greater appreciation of the work that goes into peoples own creations.

I'm 27, live north of Noonamah ('Where the hell's Noonamah?' is a very popular bumper sticker around here :D) in Australia. I've been married for 5 years, have 2 adorable (most of the time) sons aged 5 and 6. I'm studying Accounting through distance mode at uni.

I enjoy Stargate Atlantis, Bones, CSI (the first one, Miami and New York you can keep), NCIS, Two and a Half Men, anything with Christopher Walken in it, The Lord of the Rings, Robin Hobb, and Kylie Chan ( an aussie author, she writes 'The Dark Heavans' series, weaving chinese mythology, gods, and demons in a modern day city, highly recommend her books to fantasy lovers)

Not to forget animation - I enjoy Dragon Booster, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Stormhawks, Ben 10, and have recently introduced my sons to the oldies but definitely goodies - Thundercats, Voltron, Astro Boy (the original colour series), Gummi Bears.

And all the Disney and Pixar movies. I'm a kid at heart.

That's it. That's the entirety of my life. No discovering cures, no stopping wars (unless you count the childrens scuffles over toys, those can reach epic proportions).

Though I'm still trying to discover the reason why a person always ends up with a thicker coating of batter on their fingers rather then on their food when preparing schnitzels. If anyone already knows the answer, please tell!

I've been enjoying peoples work here on Fan Fiction, their ideas and how they use them. Looking forward to reading more.
