Poll: For the readers of 'Perfect': Other then Sam, who is your favorite Glee student character? You may choose up to five. Vote Now! |
Author has written 17 stories for General Hospital, Glee, and Harry Potter. My name is Katy, I'm twenty years old and I've loved writing since I was very young. I really enjoy creating stories and while I focus on fanfiction for the moment, I really want to write a book someday. His Secret Past/Their Instant Family: I love writing His Secret Past and I got so into it that I really didn't want it to end. As such, I began Their Instant Family without fully planning it out first, which isn't the best idea. I promise to never abandon it. I will get back to it soon. I have a lot going on "in real life" right now and so as Perfect is the more popular WIP, it's the one I've been focusing on. I've made a few banners for Their Instant Family, these are my favorites: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r53/B00kw0rm_photos/Other/TIFfixed.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r53/B00kw0rm_photos/Other/TIF3-1.jpg The Perfectverse: This story was planned out from the very beginning, but even with that it's somehow become bigger then I ever planned for. With the news that Chord Overstreet was leaving Glee and Sam will not be on the show as of season three, I began to ponder doing a AU season three story. After a while I thought "Why not just continue in the Perfect universe? Once that story ends, start a sequel that will be a group story and function as an AU season three." and then the plot bunnies came. Even with Sam coming back, I am certain now that Perfect will become a trilogy, with a few short stories or one-shots in-universe. Perfect: The first story in this universe takes place after 2x10 and goes AU from there. Sam is revealed to be a foster child with an abusive past and many issues, mainly a strong desire to be perfect that's taking over his life. However, his attempts at being perfect only masks an even darker secret. It takes place nearly entirely in Sam's point of view and follows him through the rest of his Sophomore year of High School as his friends and foster family slowly find out his secrets. I have a banner for Perfect that was created at the beginning of the story, I may try and make a new one soon: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r53/B00kw0rm_photos/Fanart/Perfect2.png All I Really Want: Sam is heading out for some last minute Christmas shopping when a song comes on the radio that sends his thoughts back in time. / Perfectverse one-shot songfic! Scared To Death: This is an in-verse one-shot that is a must read for anyone who plans to read the sequel. Taking place over the summer, it focuses on one of the members of New Directions finding out something terrifying and the beginning of their attempts to get through it. Perfect Mess: This is the multi chapter, multi point of view sequel to Perfect. "With Sam recovering and the school's bullying problem having been delt with, the kids think everything will finally start going right, but they soon discover that even when things seem perfect, they can quickly become a perfect mess." This is an AU season three with with the focus split among all of New Directions. Unexpected: This is my very first Harry Potter story and I have been floored by the response so far. This was an idea that had been bouncing around in my head for over a year, but I never had any intention to write it before my little sister insisted that I did so she could read it. Floor Plan for Severus' Quarters: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r53/B00kw0rm_photos/Other/Floor_Plan_zps9697e66a.png Somehow I just feel like I need to write this. I feel like I still need to leave something here. If you think I'm crazy, think that. But I believe in this. "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 If I disappear along with thousands - maybe millions - of other people. It was the Rapture. It wasn't a mass alien abduction or any other crazy theory people come up with, it was God taking His children up to Heaven before things get really bad down here. I know there may be many people left who claim they were Christian's - maybe even some very well known people, you might even be one of them. These people were never truly saved. Many people simply assume that going to church makes you a Christian but it doesn't, a phrase I've often heard is "Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore then sitting in a garage makes you a car.". Other's may have "prayed the prayer" out of obligation and did not mean it. Some people seem to believe that Christian is the "other" option; if they aren't Muslim, Jewish or any other religion then must be a Christian. There are also a lot of people who call themselves Christians but never truly followed God, they believe they know best and that they don't even have to try to follow God's laws. Still more may simply believe that being a "good person" is enough to be saved. These are the "Christians" who were left. If this has happened, and you are left behind, I am begging you to find a Bible and start reading. And go to http://raptureready.com/ quickly, before it's gone. I want you in Heaven with me, so if nothing else, do this for me at first! Read these things. Rapture Ready explains things so much better then I ever could! I'm going to link you straight to six pages set up at Rapture Ready for when this happens: http://raptureready.com/lbl/left-behind.html http://raptureready.com/rap49.html http://raptureready.com/rr-survival-guide.html http://raptureready.com/rr-second-chance.html http://raptureready.com/rr-employees.html http://raptureready.com/rr-memo.html I know this site may be gone already. so I'm going to try and offer some short adivce here. As soon as possible read at least the first few books of the New Testament along with Daniel and Revealation in the Bible. You will need to read the rest, but this the starting point you need now. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John will explain who Jesus is and what He's done for you. Revelation will tell you what is happening right now. It's writen from the perspective of someone a couple thousand years ago, the way he saw things, but careful reading should make it easy to realize the things in this book are happening right now! Daniel is similar, though there isn't as much there. Both also include a lot of symbolism that can be hard to understand - so read carefully! Not only will they tell you what has already happened, but they will tell you what is coming. "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." - John 3:16-18 Jesus came to earth to pay for our sins. The perfect and Holy Son of God walked this earth just the same as we do now, but He never sinned! Even during the time when He was here, people still didn't believe in Him. People looked at the face of Jesus and denied Him. In fact, Jesus was put to death by people who refused to believe that he was the Son of God. And He died willingly. Jesus is God - God is one God in three parts, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. It's a bit like how an egg can seperate into three parts, but is still just one egg, or how water can be in three forms: a solid, a liquid and a gas, but still be water. It can be a hard concept to understand, but it is one that we accept on faith because the Bible tells us it is true and the Bible is God's Word and therefore every word in it is truth. The reason that concept is so important to understand here is this: God could not have died unless He was willing too. He could have called angels to take Him away, he could have simply disapeared, He can do anything and yet he chose to die. Why? Because He loves us. God created every single one of us, He made you who you are and He wants nothing more then for you to be with Him. "For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." - Psalms 139:13-14 The problem is that we have a sin nature. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 There is more to that passage and I'll go into that later, but we need to focus on this part right now. Ever since Adam and Eve first sinned, it's been human nature to sin. Our sin seperates us from God. God is perfect and He is holy, He's never done anything wrong, never made a single mistake. Sin just can't be near that. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 I will go more into that passage later as well, but this part is important now. The punishment for sin is death. "Big sin" or "little sin", it doesn't matter what it is, it's still sin and if we've commited it, we have to die for it. And this isn't just a physical death, but it's also a spirtual one. The punishment for sin is seperation from God and in death, there's only two places to go, Heaven or hell and hell is the worse then you could ever imagine. At some point in our lives all of us have been disrespectful to or disobeyed our parents, lied, been jealous or broken other of God's laws. If you've sinned, you go to hell and we've all sinned. So what now? Remember John 3:16-18? It says that whoever believes in Him shall not perish and it says that God sent His Son to save the world. Jesus came to earth to pay for our sins, to make us clean as if we had never sinned, but how did He do that? He paid for our sins when He died. Jesus knew what was coming and he knew that the only way to save us was if He, who was completely innocent and had never once sinned, died in our place. Before He was arrested for telling the world who He was, He prayed. Part of the prayer He prayed was for us. "'My prayer is not for them (the disciples) alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.'" - John 17 20-26 He knew that what He was doing was the only way for us to be with Him forever. He allowed Himself to be beaten and to die a painful death on the cross, His death was not a quick and easy thing, but He did it for us. To prove He was truly dead, He was stabbed in the side as well. He was then laid in a tomb and it was sealed. Three days later an empty tomb was found, with the stone that had sealed it rolled away. Later, Jesus appeared to His followers to show them He was alive and they saw the marks on his hands and feet from where he had been nailed to the cross as well as the hole in his side. Many of his followers also watched as He ascended back into Heaven. He then sent His Holy Spirit to those who followed Him, this is where the term "accepting Jesus into your heart" comes from. "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" - John 14:6 Jesus made it clear that He is the only way to Heaven. So what exactly do you have to do? All you have to do to become a Christian is this: Say a prayer out loud and mean it. Tell Jesus you believe in Him, that He is the Son Of God and that He died for your sins and rose again. Tell Him you are sorry for your sins, and ask Him for His forgiveness. Ask Him to take control of your life and help you to follow His laws and live the way He wants you too. "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." - Romans 10 9-10 Without doing this, without accepting Jesus into your heart, believing that He is who He said He is and confessing with your mouth that He is Lord, you will not be able to go to Heaven. Note that only believing is not enough, even the devil and the demons believe. You must make Him your Lord and follow Him. God is a perfect and holy God, He can not have sin with Him in Heaven. And only Jesus can wash away your sins. "Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin. But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God[/u, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in His blood. He did this to demonstrate His justice, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— He did it to demonstrate His justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus." - Romans 3:20-26 So what do you do after you're saved? This is where the part about following Him comes in. "What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:15-23 You don't have to be perfect, no one is perfect. You just have to do your best to follow His laws. If you mess up, you ask for forgiveness, and He forgives. You see, Jesus gave us the way to Heaven and it's simple, all you have to do is believe in Him and follow Him. However, simple doesn't mean easy. God never promises things will be easy for us. In fact, for those of you who were left behind things will be extreamely hard now, but you do have your second chance, if you accept Jesus into your heart you will still go to Heaven and be with Him forever. Most people believe that children who are young and those who are incapable of understanding this will go to Heaven no matter what, as they are innocent and do not know the difference between right and wrong yet. Jesus loves children and I do not believe they would be punished for not making a decision they were too young to make. One of the most important things in Revelation and Daniel is that they will tell you that the coming world leader is evil and should not be followed - and do not take his mark! It will make life very, very difficult to not have this mark, but taking it is the final straw: you are signing over your allegiance to the devil. Without the mark you will not be able to buy or sell anything, but you must not take it! There is no turning back from taking the mark, you can not go to Heaven if you have taken it. God is a loving God, but He is also a just God. He has given and will continue to give many chances for people to turn to Him, but this world has fallen too far. This is His judgement. There will be a peace treaty signed (or confirmed) with Isreal, the person who causes this to happen is the antichrist - the coming evil world leader. This signals the start of the seven year tribulation. The antichrist will seem wonderful, he will be adored by the entire world. But he is evil, he is doing the work of the devil and following him will litterally be a death sentence forever, even though not following him may very well be an earthly death sentence. Your life will be anything but easy for the next seven years - and that's if you make it the whole seven years - I won't sugar-coat things, but if you follow God, you will be safe forever in Heaven. I hope with all my heart that none of you will be left behind to see this, but I also hope with all my heart that if you were, you will read these things and you will accept God into your heart. Things won't be easy now - but I know you can do it! I'll be waiting to see you guys in Heaven! One final note, I know this sounds crazy now, but reading the Bible - Revealation especially makes it so obvious what's coming. Things are falling into place just like it was written two thousand years ago! This post isn't really meant for now, it's meant for when this happens, but I truly feel it will happen soon! | |||||||
