Why I read fanfics: I love to imagine characters I already love doing different, new things. Mostly, I love romance fanfics for my favorite characters. I have a preference for reading romance fanfics that pair up a canon character and an OC, which is why I mostly write those kinds of fanfics.

Why I write fanfics: I like imagining romantic pairings for fanfiction, and sometimes I can't find a story I like enough within a certain fandom where a canon character and an original character are paired up.

My writing style: My writing style doesn't contain too many details. I like to allow the reader a lot of room to imagine scenes in their own ways. Mostly, I focus on dialogue. I think conversations in my fanfics are more important and I take more time thinking them out, including how to phrase a sentence and which words to emphasize.

When I started reading and writing fanfics: It's hard to recall the first time I read or wrote fanfiction, but I can safely say I've read and written fanfics for over three years now. I hardly even think my own written work is good enough to post, this being the reason I only have a few fanfics posted as of October 14th, 2008.

Fandoms I've written in and posted fanfics for: As of October 14th, 2008, I've only posted fanfics for Death Note on this account. I have various other fandom fics I'm working on and can't even remember all of them.

My first fandom: My first fandom was the X-Files.

My first pairing ship: I started out by reading MulderxOC fanfics, but my first pairing with canon characters was DoggettxReyes.

Favorite pairings: I have way too many to list, but I'll shorten it to my top three for two categories. For CanonxOC, I favor (Death Note) LxOC, (Naruto) KakashixOC, and (House, MD) HousexOC. For CanonxCanon, my favorite pairings are (House, MD) HousexCuddy, (Pokemon) JessiexJames, and (Sweeney Todd) ToddxLovett.

Reviews and how they affect how I write: Reviews may give me constructive criticism that I may or may not take. Good reviews give me the desire to write more, which can probably be said for most writers. I consider flames to be humorous in how a person could be so fired up about something like fanfiction. I don't consider fanfiction serious business, so flames don't really deter me from writing what I want to write, considering that those who dislike my writing so much can choose not to read it.

Beta usage: None. I don't bother with recruiting beta readers. Spell check is good enough for me and I consider myself fairly decent with grammar. I believe my work is quiet readable and that small mistakes aren't too big of a problem.

Ratings I read and write: I usually write fanfiction that's T through M. As for reading, I'll read stories of any rating.

My squicks: My squicks would be yaoi/shounen-ai/slash and yuri/shoujo-ai/femslash. Also, I don't like vividly detailed sex scenes in fanfics.

My idea of chapter length: I think chapter length should be a decent size, approximately 1,000 words or over. This doesn't neccessarily include prologues and epilogues.

My take on Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus: I don't find them to be a big problem, but I always make warnings in my work that my female OCs may be a potential Mary-Sue. I think people should be allowed to write and post them if they choose. Having said that, I still believe it's nice to politely point out the problem with a character without shamelessly flaming someone.

Status of received and given flames: I don't give flames. So far, as of October 14th, 2008, I haven't received a flame.

My thoughts: Get a life. You're not my boss. I don't need lectures on how pure my motives for writing should be, or for how I asked for one review before I'd post more of my story. Don't like my methods, don't read. Simple.
