Author has written 7 stories for Doctor Who.

Fanfic writer since Dr Who Season 3 finale aired: Huge Master and John Simm fan, most of my work to date can be found on these sites:

http://www.edzel2.com/ for my many Master-centric stories

http://simmplyfic.weebly.com/ for my not-quite-as-many but ever-growing number of fics based on characters actor John Simm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Simm has played

and

http://thefreakiestshow.weebly.com/ a site devoted purely to my Life on Mars fics, because this was the show that introduced me to the awesomeness that is John Simm. Need I say more?!

I don't imagine for one moment than anyone is seriously interested in knowing much about me; those of you who are personal friends will already know me, and those yet to become friends will get to know me in due course! But for the mildly curious, here's a short bio:

Born in 1958, always been interested in science fiction, voracious reader - I particularly like crime fiction at the moment. Married since the early nineties, one son who shares my love of Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy but who probably secretly rolls his eyes at the rest of it; one husband who tolerates but doesn't quite 'get' most of my enthusiasms (which is okay because I think some of his are even more nerdy than mine, LOL). He would quite like me to write a series of best selling novels so that we could sell up and move somewhere altogether much more pleasant - I prefer to do what I'm doing because I do it for fun, not profit. Plus I'm not sure I'm quite talented enough to be another JK Rowling, though its very flattering that he thinks I am... but then he doesn't read fiction so has never read more than a few lines of any of my fanfics! So I'm not sure he's best placed to judge... LOL.

In decades past I founded the only official appreciation society for The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha:http://www.zz9.org/ but I haven't been actively involved in the society since the 1980's and my involvement was waaay before home computing was the norm. But I had fun... I've also been a Star Trek fan (who are ;Trekkers; by the way, never 'Trekkies' - that was a media term and much disliked by many of us, then and now) , which was my first ever proper fandom (yes I've been to fan run conventions and met Mark Leonard and George Takei and so on, in the days when you didn't have to pay for an autograph or a photo and all the profits went to charity - ah, the Leeds Dragonara Hotel, those were the days...) and I've been a part of Blake's 7 fandom too (in a less active way) and even started a club for Thom Christopher's character Hawk in Buck Rogers of the 25th Century... then I put away my fannish interests and got married, had a baby and all the RL stuff... then along came New Who, which saw me becoming a fan of Dr Who all over again, but I didn't become active until the end of season 3, although I had become a fan of Life on Mars and had dipped a toe into the new online forums, namely the LoM fansite The Railway Arms: http://domeofstars.com/forum/index.php so was primed and ready to commit to being an active fan again when LoTTL finished airing... and that, as they say, is how it happened.

And I apologise for this not being a short bio after all; assuming anyone ever reads this, of course, LOL.
