I began writing in early 2002 and originally I wrote in The Sentinel fandom. None of those stories are currently posted anywhere, however. I took a hiatus from writing for about 2 years before picking it up again in late 2005.
I adore Quantum Leap and concentrate my writing there. In addition to writing stories dealing with "leaps" I've also created a series of prequel stories that I've been enjoying writing. Additionally, I've also embarked on some AU writing that differs from the established canon of Quantum Leap.
Despite my attempts at humerous, light-hearted stories, it seems I've yet to break completely free from the angst genre - though I do try.
A number of the stories that I have posted are works in progress and sometimes there may be a fairly substantial time between updates to them. I only ask patience as they all will be updated and completed.
One of the things that can motivate me to work on an "in progress" story is feedback. Feedback is like manna in the desert for the writer. Whether it's feedback telling me the reader likes something or suggesting ways to improve it, I value each piece I get and it's one of the motivating factors in my writing. The other motivating factor is that I simply enjoy weaving tales.
I have quite a few sotries ideas in progress. You can find sneak peaks of some of them on fanfiction page of my website.
In late 2006 I formed a writing partnership with asearcher and together we comprise the pen name QLTales. Our first joint story, "Fall To Earth" premiered in Fall 2006. Since then, we've completed two other stories and are currently in the process of uploading our fourth.
Author's note (May 21, 2008) - I've removed three incomplete stories, Home Is Where, Metamorphosis, and Mysterous Actions from my account. These stories will be uploaded again when they are complete.
