Author has written 3 stories for Labyrinth, Harry Potter, and Tin Man.

What I love most about fan fiction is that it is the ultimate character analysis. Seriously, when you take characters from canon, and place them in new situations, or examine their thoughts in canon situations, that's when you're exploring their character, drawing conclusions, noticing trends, parallels, and so on. Also, because each author brings their own experiences to their work, you can learn about all sorts of things that you've never heard of before (for example, I've discovered Oasis, the Dresden Dolls, Eve's Pudding, and classic Celtic mythology, among other things, thanks to different fics).

I started out reading Harry Potter fanfiction, and things have progressed from there. I also love reading Tin Man and Labyrinth fics, but I'm willing to try anything. Considering my favorite genres, I don't think it's a coincidence that I really love the stories about the older man with the dark, mysterious past (and the snarky attitude) and the young, courageous (smart, spunky, etc.) girl with dark hair.

I've just started publishing my own stories on here recently... the early ones really weren't fit for consumption. I've got to say, I think that I enjoy getting the reviews even more than I enjoy writing. I certainly find them motivating! So please, if you read my stories, please review them! I will reply with many sincere thanks!

And just for background: I'm mid-twenties, single mother of a toddler, going to school to become a middle school/high school English teacher. I enjoy chocolate, knitting, classic films, Shakespeare, hiking, and finding gems in fan fiction and fan art.

Happy Reading!
