Author has written 44 stories for Pretty Little Liars series, Twilight, Pretty Little Liars, Clique, and Harry Potter. I was watching Deathly Hallows and decided that I really, really like the Severus/Lily pairing. I know, non-canon, but what can I say. I liked the pairing since I read OoTP, I think, and just watching the scene of Severus' memories had me bawling. Always does. So I've noted probably eleven or so fic ideas for that pairing in the last half hour. My mind races too much. Writing is how I clear away the dust. There are many ideas, and not enough time in the day. Didn't get that job, still blogging, still studying. Might put up a poll soon. Don't expect too many fics/chapters published over the next little while. Right now fanfic is reserved for when I have time. Pity. Have to transcribe everything from mobile/iPod to journal. Going to make an effort to update this profile more often. 1 April Working on blogging daily with own creative writing; university reasonably busy. Went for a job, may or may not get it. Don't ask me why. 18 March 2013 I'm back at uni and busy, busy, busy. All writing is temporarily on hold. I will pull together scraps of writing to make whole chapters when I have time, and expect some more publishing in a few weeks. Polls have been taken down; I have roughly thirty ideas on my iPod alone and there are at least another twenty in my idea journal. So. There will be writing, there will be ideas, they just might take a while. One, I've started writing mentally. I just need to read Hard Times and Vanity Fair, plus a couple of other things and once things have settled down - I have a break coming up - I'll try to publish more. Chances are, I'll mass-publish a half-dozen things at once. I do intend to finish Obtaining Vengeance; it's only got another two chapters, three at the very most, left. That'll be good. Oh, and soon I'm going to go over Things People Say and cut the author's notes out. Word count will go down, but I'm not going to touch the actual content, unless it's some glaring error I missed before. Anything else you want to know, just PM me. I have now found the PLL story I was looking for, thanks to hiding.my.heart I've now deleted the post I had in the fanfic archives trying to find it. Will get back to writing shortly. Poll will stay open, but will be updated accordingly. I have just updated it. Poll will be open until February 11, please vote. 23 January 2013 I have a stack of stories that are works-in-progress. Since I'm having some difficulty picking which one to update next, I have set up a poll. It will be open for six weeks; please do vote. It will make my life much easier once I know which story I'm doing. I will change the poll accordingly. 8 January 2013 So I'm beginning on my own parody series of Harry Potter books. I will start writing them very shortly; they will be direct parodies, chapter-by-chapter, of the books. As always I will try to remain as original as possible. That plus other writing... I don't yet have the books Prisoner of Azkaban through to Deathly Hallows, but I will get them in a few weeks and stuff. I have a whole system. I shall do Philosopher's Stone and once that one is done I shall order Prisoner of Azkaban and write Chamber of Secrets while I wait for it to arrive. And so on. That is my system. 5 January 2013 Er. I am going to pick up where I left off with That Night (PLL), it will not go unfinished. I just have to get myself caught up to date with the first seventeen chapters of what happened and then will resume writing. I will also continue with my other multi-chapter stories, mainly Gred and Forge Must Not: chapter 8 of that one is in the works. I am still on summer holidays; I will use that to my very best advantage. There are still half a dozen oneshots planned out in my little notebook. I will write. Oh yes, there will be writing. Also, I'm going to be editing That Night some. Nothing major, but when I was printing it all out I noticed a filler chapter with absolutely nothing in it, and the numbers are a bit screwy. So I'm just going to remove the nothing chapter, which I believe was chapter 5, and re-number the chapters properly. The text and story and everything will remain the same. I'm also going to chop the author's notes, as stuff I wrote three years ago is no longer relevant and I feel it's a bit distracting, and I'm going to move the rating to T. I just feel it fits that rating better. 21 December 2012 So. I have about three million documents open on my computer, all waiting to be written. I have published one new oneshot, Umbridge Got Run Over by a Hippogriff. I have been going through the different fanfiction.net archives to find out what other series I can do. The list has broken double digits. I have set up about a dozen writing goals. What else... I do not believe that the world will end tonight. I have another three or four oneshots to post over the next day or two, so I will do that. In the event that the world does end tonight, I need not submit my writings. 5 November 2012 Well. I have lost my mind and decided that two November projects is a really great idea. I have made *some* progress on Gred and Forge Must Not... I wrote chapter 15 last night. I seem to be working backwards on it. 15 October 2012 I have now changed my profile name from study.angel to the queen of slurking. This change was for no real reason, other than I was bored of my old name and because I felt like it. I will keep all my stories the same. My pen name is all that is different. Also, I will be taking a brief hiatus from writing. I expect to be away for about three weeks. While working on Gred and Forge Must Not, I wrote chapter 6 and then skipped to 19. So I figure it will take about three weeks to catch up on coming up with ideas for, and then writing, chapter 7-18. 2 October 2012 I have posted the first chapter of Obtaining Vengeance, the sequel to Payback. I imagine it will be a three-shot. Four, at the absolute most. I also plan to start a couple of Harry Potter humour stories tonight, as I like to kick off a new series with humour. It seems to come naturally to me, somehow. As for that oneshot I mentioned, that was Absolution (PLL). It has since been published, and is complete. At some point I might also delve a little more into the relationship between Alison and Courtney-I'm working with the book series, not the TV series. 12 September 2012 I have begun creating a new blog for my own original writings and stuff. Over the past eight months I have become more serious about writing and am focusing on it more. I will also make an effort to start the sequels for Things People Say and Payback, as I said a year ago that I would. I do have a new oneshot idea I'm looking forward to starting, so we'll see how it goes. In the interest of cleaning up this profile a bit I have deleted my old ramblings and will replace them with new as time goes on. I have not abandoned or forgotten fanfiction. | |||||||
