Interests: Reading, writing (fanfic, of course, as well as my novel which I really should do some more work on...), Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings - anything with Orlando Bloom in, really.

Favourite Films: Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 3 & 2 (in that order, except the beach scene between Will & Elizabeth at the end of AWE is my favourite scene in the entire trilogy! melts just thinking about it), Lord of the Rings Trilogy (but not the boring bits with Frodo & Sam, they take too long!), Pride & Prejudice (although the BBC version is much better than the new film), The Princess Bride (classic romantic cheese!), Elizabethtown, The Producers, oh, and Bridget Jones's Diary.

Favourite Books: Pride & Prejudice, The Princess Bride, The Other Boleyn Girl, North & South (Elizabeth Gaskell, for those who are unsure) and The Chronicles of Narnia.

I refuse to give up anymore personal information than that. Just read my stories and enjoy.

My allegiances primarily lie with Willabeth supporters, yet I am rapidly coming round to the Sparrabeth side of things. Whilst I agree that Will and Elizabeth are meant to be together, Jack and Elizabeth offers some interesting situations and rolling on the floor laughter.

By the way, I am generally opposed to any OC relationships which appear in POTC fanfic. Willabeth, Sparrabeth and occasionally Norribeth and Sparramaria are good for me. OC relationships just mess with canon, and I don't particularly like that too much - although AU fics are okay sometimes.

I am also opposed to the idea that Will would prefer to live on land being a blacksmith, rather than being a pirate and sailing the sea. He has pirate in his blood, and I am a firm believer that the sea calls to him. He is happy with his destiny to be Captain of The Flying Dutchman - his only regret is that he is separated from Elizabeth. Besides, he rivals Jack as an awesome pirate Captain.

Most of my fics centre around Will and Jack (not slash) with a little bit of Elizabeth, or Norrington thrown in here or there. I'm not too big a fan of Elizabeth so I use her sparingly. I guess it just annoys me that she thought she could kill Jack to save everyone else. Evil Elizabeth... hence why in some fics I am so cruel to her.

If my characterisation of one or more of the POTC characters seems strange and unlikely, please let me know and I will see what I can do about it!

My Fanfics:

If you are going to read any of my fics, please read One Day. It is my best and my favourite. If after you have read that, you are tempted to read more, I would advise you follow One Day up with The Immortal Captain Jack Sparrow (now finished) - it is, after all, the long-awaited sequel! Passage to England is not so good, and I am currently reworking it after having a flash of inspiration.

A Pirate's Daughter is a fairly big project of mine and I would appreciate all your positive and constructive criticism! It is now finished, and I have loved all the reviews I've gotten for it!

I also have two humorous one-shots currently posted: An Unexplainable Connection (inspired by a conversation with one of my friends) and The Very Secret Diary of William Turner (inspired by The Very Secret Diary of Legolas by Cassandra Claire). These two are more humorous than most of my fics, so if you need a laugh, I would recommmend them.

Legacy, a one-shot, was an idea which just kept bugging me, so I had to do something about it. Please ignore DMC and AWE when you read it. It is written as if they never took place - an unusual thing for me to do, as I'm normally inspired by AWE for my fanfics. Please read and review - I really enjoyed writing it, and I hope you'll enjoy reading it!

I have just started a sequel to Legacy, called Calypso's Commission. You'll have to be patient with me on this one - I have loads of ideas buzzing around in my head for it and I'm trying to weave them all in to create the mother-of-all plots in my fics! It would probably help if you read Legacy before you read this one - otherwise you'll get confused (especially when you discover who is Captain of The Black Pearl...)! It is an AU, but I am weaving in several of the plotlines from AWE (which is actually part of the reason it is so complicated!)

A Friend's Understanding is a one-shot, partly pre-COTBP and partly in COTBP. It just postulates a theory I had about how, historically, those in high positions on ship were usually those born into the upper class - therefore making Jack from the upper class... It is a rather long one shot, but I am pleased with it. Ideas for a sequel are running around in my head, so please read and review and let me know what you think! Please enjoy!

Another new addition is Son of the Brother. This is not originally my idea. The idea belongs to QueenOfPirateRomance and she graciously allowed me to continue her one-shot of the same title. So all credit goes to her for this amazing idea! You should definitely read her one-shot before even considering reading my continuation of the idea. You can find it under my favourite stories. Please be patient with me on this one - its taking me a while to weave this idea into canon events. But I hope you enjoy it!

I am currently in the process of writing a series of one shots, titled Legends. These one shots are post-CotBP, and disregard DMC & AWE (something I seem to be doing a lot of recently. Weird...) Please take a look at these and let me know what you think! I have some exciting (well, I think so) events coming up in the next few one shots and I'm looking forward to actually writing them... I'm not actually sure how long this series is going to be yet. I guess it'll end when I run out of ideas, or the character arcs finish. But for now I'm buzzing with ideas for these, so it may well go on for a long time!

A little Christmas one shot (which was actually posted after Christmas; I started it on Christmas Eve, intending for it to be short, but it ended up as a long one shot of doom) is now up! The Secret Identity of Santa (or Santa Prefers Rum to Whiskey) is a modern AU (my first; I hope you like it) looking at Christmas in the Turner household - a rather manic affair. I hope you enjoy it!
