Author has written 17 stories for Naruto, Avatar: Last Airbender, Suikoden, Prince of Tennis, hack/SIGN, Harry Potter, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Gundam Wing/AC. Formally this user. Sorry for the inconvenience, but none of those fics will be updated any longer. They're some of the very few old things of mine that I haven't deleted, though. Enjoy them. I am Risa. Call me Risa, or Larisa, which is my actual name. I'm a full-time college student, as well as a full-time nerd. Expect my updates and activity to be erratic at best. Well, anyway. Here's everything you ought to know about me beyond the tl;dr of my RL profile: Fandoms: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, and Suikoden. Not in any particular order. There are also many other things that I love. Primary Genres: I like general things with a touch of romance. Pairings interest me the most, although I prefer a vague romance based on trust and friendship far over "tru wub" and "it's canon because the show/game sed so" blahblah... I LOVE HUMOR. My sense of humor has a habit of seeping into my narration. I've been given mixed impressions about that, but I don't see what's so bad about it. Excessive angst is no more realistic than excessive humor (not that I believe my humor's ever been excessive, but who knows? Still, if I went all out then you'd KNOW it.) Friendly Towards: Yaoi, yuri, het, get, threesomes, and plenty of tame-ish squicks. I personally can't do rape or deathfics, though. Stuff with sad endings and excessive angst, srs bsns, etc. I'm not inspired by that sort of thing. I DO try to keep my characters as IC as possible. I'll put effort into that, and painting the picture of the world in which I'm writing. My style is not dense and informative, though. I try to make it light-hearted and airy. I also have a habit of writing from within a character's head, like I'm writing the story through their eyes to get a crack into their world, hence my writing having far more narration than dialogue. I always write in 3rd person. Heh, yeah. Dawn Eidolon: Dawn (reference to Suikoden V) Eidolon (reference to Final Fantasy IX), my two favorite RPG's. I have been reading and writing since I first had access to the Internet about, ah, 6 years ago? Mind you, though I'm nowhere NEAR perfect now, I used to be just godawful. I wrote the kind of yaoi that had GAFFers sporking their eyes out, I'm sure. I improved by being bold enough to surround myself with writers I did admire via livejournal, and I wanted to raise to their level. I also took every piece of concrit I ever received seriously. From there I especially paid heed to my spelling/grammar, where I fell flattest. To this day I am no expert in grammar, but you know? When I learned more about writing via fanfiction and concrit than crappy public school classes, LOL. Yeah. I'm mostly self-taught. Fanfiction's the reason I ace English classes now, and people say this is a waste of time. My GPA wouldn't be so high right now if it weren't for doing what I love (English isn't the only class where decent writing counts. There was psychology, sociology, world civ, geography, etc.), so if all of you love fanfiction as much? Write. Writing's the only way you can improve at writing, and don't ever let any obnoxious flamers and trolls try and steer you away from what you love. Also, pay heed to concrit, because people wouldn't give it if you weren't worth it. Anyway, LOL tl;dr. That's all any of you need to know about me. If any of you want to PM me about anything, go ahead. :) I have no life. I'll likely be around. My updating will be very inconsistent. I will give myself goals, but that doesn't mean I'll follow through. Still, goals are good to make. As my former boss says, if you aim high when you're low then you'll likely end up somewhere in the middle if you don't give up.
