Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Stargate: SG-1.

Hi,

My tour of duty in the land of sand has finally come to an end, I now have four weeks off to try and get my life on track again.

If you are reading this Bio i sincerely hope its because you liked my first chapter of my very first story 'Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic', This was not only the first time i have taken the Potterverse out for a spin but my first ever published fan fic and i have to say it feels mighty fine so far, i just really hope i can do justice to the works that have gone before.

Once i started writing Ministry of Magic (from now on referred to as MoM) the plot voices in my head just would not shut up, i have carried a large notebook with me nearly everywhere i went for the last four months because i could never predict when the next plot idea would strike. All you experienced writers out there...Help! Is this normal or do i need a strait jacket?

I am in my 30's, and live in the south of England. I seem to have stumbled onto fan fiction quite late in life, and am now frantically trying to make up for lost time by reading as much as i can in as short a time as possible. If it wasn't for the fact that i still have to find time to earn an honest wage, i'd probably never turn my computer off.

My childhood involved quite a lot of RPG playing including D&D, Shadowrun and Traveller (the Marc Miller version) so i suppose story telling is just the next step down the road oft travelled. I have also wargamed on the table top. WH40k, (617th Cadian Regiment 'Cadian wildcats') and LOTR.

I have nearly put 'Harry Potter and the MOM' to bed, the last four chapters are in draft form, and i have two other stories in skeleton format just awaiting my creative energies. Added to that is the Stargate SG1 tale that was my original stab at fan fiction, even now i can hear Gen. Jack O'Neill (with two LL's, there is another O'Neil, but he has no sense of humour) telling me to dust it off and give it a shine, but we'll see...I only have so many hours in the day!!

So hope you enjoy my work, see you around.

I am a supporter of the Sober Universe (SU) I refuse to believe that JKR's recent revelations regarding post-DH ships are canon. I subscribe to the Sober Universe where we can use our imaginations to decide who ended up with who, and where my version is as true as yours.

JKR has given us a wonderful universe to play with, but she has finished writing the books. Either she should have given us a decent epilogue to DH, telling us what we wanted to know, rather than what we could have guessed, or she should have kept her ideas about post-DH events, ships and names to herself. It is my personal belief that if she had actually tried to write any of the ships that are now "canon" she would see that they do not work.

I am aware that, by its very nature, fanfiction is not "canon", and cannot ever truly be canon. However, for those who showed enough respect to Jo Rowling to make every effort to keep their fics in line with her vision - some of her recent decisions have been rather disappointing. Had she included any or all of this information at the end of Deathly Hallows, that would have been wonderful - I'm sure many of us would have preferred a more fully complete edition of the Epilogue, which we were not afforded. I love the universe Jo gave us in first seven books, but beyond hardback canon, if it isn't AU, will be SU canon.

I, the madcap magician, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else.

Pairing and Relationships that i enjoy

Harry/Ginny

Ron/Hermione

Harry/Hermione

Harry/OC (well written OC that is)

Harry/Tonks

Pairings that don't flick my switch (but that's ok, we are all different)

Harry/Any Slash (sorry but there is no basis in canon for such a relationship)

Any professor/Any pupil (even in the magical world this is still wrong)

Remus/Sirius (unless it is VERY well written)

Draco/Hermione (After all that abuse this would never happen)

My stories

A Day Unlike Any Other

The-boy-who-lived has just become the-man-who-died, on his wedding day of all days! But you know what they say, you cannot keep a good Potter down! Now if only someone would tell Ginny that...

Allies of a Darker Nature

This was the very first attempt at a fan fic,

What would you do if your countries greatest military secret is about to be revealed to the whole world? SG1, still mourning the death of Dr Janet Frasier have to deal with the threat posed by what a little knowledge can do in the hands of a supposed ally.

Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic

This is my first 'published' attempt at fanfiction, and is a story that begins on the Hogwarts express returning to London shortly after Dumbledore's funeral. It is a dark time for Harry as Voldemort's forces grow in confidence and the Ministry and the Order of the Phoenix are left reeling by Dumbledore's death.

But every cloud has a silver lining, and Harry's silver lining is Ginny. For even in the darkest times, when the wolves (and the other things that go bump in the night) gather at the door, as long as you have a strong woman and good friends at your side you may still emerge victorious.
