Welcome to my Pit-o-Agony-and/or-Bacon

After centuries of self-reflection and millennia (I looked, it's spelled with two n's) of hiding in the dark shadows of civilization, I've decide to create an account on Fanfiction.net. I wouldn't call myself a 'writer', so stories will be slow...

Name: darthritter86 (yes the sith are better than the jedi)

Age: It's what the 86 in my screenname means hit, hit not 1886

Writing has never been my thing, in school or anywhere at that, but I'm going to pour my soul into the story. So to anyone who's taking the time to read this profile before the fanfic, please use agonizing details in your burning (no one-lines).

This whole thing with Fanfiction.net started with Legacy of Kain game series (a very, very good series and I suggest anybody who has a the opportunity to play through them to do it). Now it's been two...third years since I found the site and now I feel confident that I can at least convey my ideas in a fun, fun way for all the girls and boys.

What I'm hoping for is to create great fanfictions with more...culture...not saying that current writers on the site aren't doing that, but I want to put my own hat in the ring. Greek tragedies, anime, 17th century comedies, classic movies, tv series, and probably more will be seen as influences, but please...start yelling at me if you think it's too out there.

Religion:

Religion is a very dear subject to me and I'll start taking about it at a drop of the hat. I'm roman catholic, but don't limit myself there. I see all faiths as being true...different in direction but similar in destination, with worship to greater divinity (I call God, you call Brahman, Japanese call Kami). Now some of you might get all 'speechy' that I'm leaving out the religions without any gods, spirits, or any form of divinity...well those of you who write down taoism, confucianism, "what have you" on the line next to Religion your not a religion...your fellowing a philosophical way of living which well make you a better person, just as much as a good Buddist or Muslim. And for those who'd say that "their" religion is right and I'm going to hell...well, well they can just suc' it dry. I have no time for people who praise 'white Jesus' and no respect for people who kill 'in His name.'

Yeah...I listen to a lot of weird stuff. They all have something about them that I can't stop listening to. Now I'm not one of the those super fans for any of them...actually I'm luck if I remember any of the leader singers' names. Mmhh...I guess I'm the worst fan ever, really...Oh well.
