"Blame it on Dumbledore" looks like this and this and this. Other pics (call it concept art, if you wish) Tête-à-tête (Snape and Dumbledore) Haunting memories (Snape) Where is your home? Big time Harry Potter and CSI (the original series) fan. Have a soft spot for Snape and Grissom (yes to older men!), so they feature in most of my stories. I've been branching out lately and exploring the peripheral characters, along with some of the baddies. It's challenging, trying to get into, say, Umbridge or Voldemort's head. The human mind is the most intriguing thing in the world, I find. I suck at writing romance, so I don't. Write it. Too often. The only canon ship I support from HP is Harry/Ginny (in my writing, that is). As for CSI, I'm still trying to overcome the shock of Grissom/Sara. Yes, it's taken years. Yes, I'm slow. Yes, no Sara and no Grissom on the show right now. Don't care. I refuse to acknowledge the eighth and ninth season. Despite all that, I've written a couple of stories that are GSR. And yes, yes, yes, I like lame rhyming. Charming. Shutting... up. Yup. It's almost like rap. Or crap. Currently working on: Blame It On Dumbledore: multi-chaptered Snape/Harry guardian story (no slash). Chronicles of Insanity: different characters (Bellatrix, Pettigrew, Ron, Umbridge, Merope Gaunt and more to come) under duress, stressed out, freaked out, or, in other words, united by moments of wavering sanity, and written when I'm incapable of thinking clearly due to ethanol having a party in my bloodstream. Yes, I engage in the art of escapism. I'm pretty good at it, if you want to know. Fanfiction and reading: As far as fanfiction goes, I read everything: from romance to gen and from slash to het. Basically, everything that's not pointless or horrendous writing. My own stories may be full of faulty English that make the native speakers cringe; however, I do have the conscience to find beta-readers for the longer stories. "Hermy luvz Drakey. Siri and Remi are makin out. Plz ppl r & r!!" makes me choke on my own saliva. Non-fanfiction? Virginia Woolf and Mikhail Bulgakov rock my world. One - with her morbidness, and the other - with his humour. Though truth be told, I've been neglecting fiction as of late in favour of more scientific... things: astronomy, biochemistry, neurobiology and psychology (see human mind comment somewhere above). There.
