I can remember being a kid and making "books" out of construction paper (in proper color patters, of course), poking holes on left side and tying hair ribbons in them. I would get so excited by all the blank pages I would be afraid to write in them. Now, I'm not. I have, say, seven notebooks I carry around on a rotating basis... one stays by my bed for those great midnight ideas... another in my car... another in my messenger bag (which, btw, is the best thing I have ever bought). I can't leave home without one. It's kind of sad.

If there is a support group for Target addictions, I need to join it.

When I got my cat a few years ago, my best friend and I struggled for hours trying to decide what I should name it.
BFF: Fluffy?
Me: Fluffy, WTF did Fluffy come from?
BFF: He's a fluffy cat!
Me: Next.
BFF: Fred!
Me: Where do you come up with this stuff? No!
BFF: It's not my fault you're incapible of naming an animal... what about... Army?
Me: That was the fish's name... that DIED.
BFF: True. Alex?
Me: No... too normal.
BFF: Troy!
Me: I am not 12. No.
BFF: Sawyer!
Me: I HATE Lost. No.
BFF: Well, you're being too picky.
Me: Am not!
BFF: Oh, here's one you won't turn down. Edward Cullen.
Me: Haha. I love me some Edward, but I am not naming my cat Edward Cullen. (Thinks) But I like where this is going.
BFF: What about Smitty, from Only Alien on the Planet?
Me: That would be perfect... if the cat weren't jet black.
BFF: Okay, what about...
ME: Something classic...
Both of us: RHETT BUTLER!!
Me: YES!! Perfect!!
BFF: I don't know why I didn't think of that right off.
And now the quest is on to find a white cat just so I can name him Ashley Wilkes. :)

I am betaing a fantastic, amazing and really quite suspenseful story by llynn20 called My Heart With You. If you haven't read it, you should. It will knock your socks off.

And, that that weren't enough... llynn20 and I are now in collaboration on a little piece of fiction... it's still untitled and only in outline form, but when it's "born", we'll let you know! We're writing under the name SDakarolina.

New story in the works!! Based around the Mat Kearney song "All I Have." Read the lyrics here. Its coming out at a pretty good pace--when grad school doesn't interfere with progress!! I am super motivated by reviews (in a non obsessive and non sketchy and non begging way... I just really love hearing what yall have to say about it!) and a lot of times I consider incorporating the ideas yall throw out into future chapters. Plus, seeing what yall think will happen and my knowing what is actually going to happen is fun. :)
