Author has written 1 story for Star Wars.

I'm eighteen years old and just entering college. I'm studying Biomedical Engineering with Premed as well as the Classics.

My interests lie heavily in the following areas: Star Wars, ancient Roma, and Napoleonic France. I tend to absorb myself in hours and hours of studying on those particular areas, just because they're simply fascinating. I do have two works of historical fiction, set in the latter two areas of interest. The Roman one is entitled 'Mortality' and sometimes writes itself, and I'm rather fond of the characters I'm using in them. It's intended to fit right in with actual history and explain what really happened to certain historical figures whom I feel are unreasonably maligned by historians: particularly Julia Cæsaris, the daughter of Cæsar Augustus. The other one merely goes under the working title 'Napoleon' and will more certainly not follow the path of history: it'll diverge at a certain critical juncture of the Battle of Eylau. Neither are posted on this site, but presumably will be if I find a good category to put them in.

I do read many works on this site, but I'm afraid that few stand out to my standards. This isn't to say that my standards are particularly elevated above anyone else's, but they lie in a different direction. I look for depth rather than simplicity. I can always find good stories when I look, though, so that's a testiment to the writing skills of many out there--some that are most assuredly better than I am.

Two stories thatI feel that I absolutely must praise are the following:

First and foremost, Recoilingby LadyBuG. It is, quite simply, the best story I've ever read on this site and the best fanfiction I've had the pleasure of reading. I delivered a long review on the story, but suffice to say that I enjoy it for being purely and profoundly human. It's a quality unmatched by anything I've ever read, and really only neared by They Let Me See the Stars at Night, written by my amazing best friend. I highly suggest 'Recoiling' to anyone, even those unfamiliar with the fandom it's associated with.

Secondly,Ann by Vysantha K. Arkadyevich. It's very well written and I enjoy it simply because it truly puts one in the mind of the main character--a main character who I thoroughly like, I might add.

1. The Twelve reviews
There were twelve of them... only twelve. They were the zenith of the Imperial Navy. Undesputed masters of strategy and tactics. Never before had their stories been told... until now.
