Author has written 13 stories for X-Men: The Movie, Wolverine & the X-Men, X-Men, and X-Men: Evolution.

I am a slightly insane, short attention-spanned gal who joined the fanfic scene to share my thoughts and plots with other like-minded folks.

I write as a hobby and as an escape, but mostly I write because I enjoy it. I am not a professional writer, nor do I desire to be. I write for fun. Pure and simple fun.

All stories I post will be completed before I start posting another, just as all stories I post are updated regularly. I try to post new chapters within 2-4 days. I write the kinds of stories that I myself like to read – generally action-romance.

I do not expect all my stories to be liked by everyone, after all, not everything is everyone’s cup of tea. If you absolutely hate something, simply stop reading it. I will not change a story for you. That being said, I am open to constructive criticism, questions and positive reviews. I enjoy responding to readers and I appreciate those who are truly pointing things out because they are being helpful, not belligerent. I strongly encourage signed reviews so that I may contact a reviewer directly.

I love comic books, especially the X-men and enjoy the pairings of Rogue and Remy most of all. I abhor seeing them paired with anyone but each other! I am also a huge Witchblade fan and have fast become a Sara/Jackie pusher after reading the ‘Firstborn’ arc.

I also like Samurai Champloo, and although most people are Mugen/Fuu shippers, I’m proudly a Jin/Fuu shipper.

All my present fics are Romys to one degree or another. I prefer to write my fics with minimal accents based on the belief that people’s imaginations are better than all my misspelled words and apostrophes. I write Gambit based on the comic book version rather than the early nineties cartoon. This means very rare third person speech. I do not speak French myself, but I now have someone educated in the language that translates my words for me.

I feel that I have been a part of this site long enough to share a bit of my personal history: I'm in my twenties and I have a career in the media business and work as a freelance artist on the side. I have a background in film studies, storyboarding/telling, animation and painting. I love cartoons, comics, mangas and various supernatural book series (currently I’m reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels). I have a husband and a dog and live a nice quiet, uneventful life with both. I enjoy chocolate, Starbucks coffee and have a penchant for collecting all things faerie. My favourite movie of all time is Labyrinth because it's been my favourite since I was a little girl. It evokes a happiness in me that I can never describe!

October 15, 2009 Update:Calling all Rogue and Gambit fans!! Mike Choi (only one of the GREATEST comic book artists ever - he's the magic man responsible for some of the best X-men and Witchblade drawings) just posted some truly magnificent works of art pertaining to Rogue and Gambit on his Deviant Art page. I've posted the links, so take a look, you won't regret it!

November 18, 2009 Update: The ROMY Round Robin I'm partaking in is up for all those interested in checking it out. Here is the link:

(My first chapter is chapter two and will be posted sometime today - November 18)

Also, a reminder: I'm slowly working on editing my past fics and re-posting the newly edited versions. I've been meaning to do it for a while. Just giving a heads up that no plot lines have been changed, just some grammatical and spelling errors I've learned along the way. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to point these things out! Much obliged!
