Writes her Romy with minimal accents, we all know they have them, let's use the power of imagination! Also prefers to write Gambit based on comic book Gambit rather than cartoon Gambit, this means very, very rare third person speech.
Truthfully has never really liked Bobby Drake in the movies and in the comics.
Has new goal; which is to write as many different Romys as her mind can allow. Let's bump up movieverse Romy! I love the endless possibilities as to how they should meet.
...Obviously loves the X-men. Especially Gambit and Rogue. I've loved them since I was like 10 after I first saw the original cartoon and started reading the comics much later. Other fav X-men: Cannonball, Emma Frost, Polaris and enjoyed Lady Mastermind in Supernovas up to her current status.
My biggest pet peev in fanfic is seeing 'Rogue' spelled as 'Rouge'. Drives me INSANE.
WEEEE!! New X-men Cartoon: Wolverine and the X-men, is proving to keep my interest. Canada's Kid's channel YTV airs it saturdays at 1pm and 8pm SK. time. They have Gambit on the preview on the site fighting Wolverine http://media.ytv.com/ Yay! Gambit!! Wish he and Rogue were actually part of the X-men, so far Gambit has cameos and Rogue's with the brotherhood. Saw Episode 5, this past weekend and guess who made his first appearance!! Gambit!!
October 10, 2008 update: My apologies, Chapter 19 of 'Like Lovers in a Doorway' won't be up until next Tuesday at the earliest. I am going home for Thanksgiving and won't have time to write this weekend. Sorry! I realize I have left you all at an awful cliffhanger. It was not on purpose. For all us Canadians, Happy Thanksgiving!
