Author has written 10 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, Libertine, and Repo! The Genetic Opera. A/N: October 18, 2009 - Head on over to the new Black Pearl Forum page! http://www.fanfiction.net/forum/The_Black_Pearl/67105/ A/N: October 28, 2009 - Chapter 33 of Esprit de Corps has been posted. Enjoy! :) The Profile Twenty-two years of age; artist, writer, lover of candlelit romance, red wine, pirates, and historical fiction. I'm a hopeless romantic that tends to fall in love so easily that it's confusing at times. You'll often find me in a daydream. I have a love for painting and photography that surpasses my love for pretty much anything else in this world. Not only that, but I'm utterly attracted to the beauty in things: paintings, photographs, objects, people - you name it. I'm honest, compassionate, caring, and if anything I'm a total being of physicality. If my frame of mind were to be captured by a song, it'd be "Sympathy for the Devil" by the Rolling Stones. With that being said, pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name. ;) My avatar: Johnny Depp! ~Favorites~ Favorite Books: Currently obsessed with a certain wizard named Harry Dresden and his skull named Bob, so The Dresden Files are at the top of my list. I also enjoyed "Two Years Before the Mast," "The Constant Princess," "The Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," "Wideacre," "The Three Musketeers," and Harry Potter. Favorite Movies: Pirates Trilogy, Snatch, Poolhall Junkies, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Fight Club, The Boondock Saints, Donnie Brasco, The Godfather, Scarface, Pulp Fiction, Clerks 1 and 2, The Musketeer, Smokin' Aces, The Libertine, Sleepy Hollow, Don Juan DeMarco, Sweeney Todd, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and pretty much every Pixar movie ever made. Favorite Music: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Doors, Queen, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pantera, Ministry, PsychoStick, Arch Enemy, Black Label Society, Death, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Lemon Demon, Mastodon, Children of Bodom, Inflames, Iced Earth, Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, NOFX, Rancid, The Sex Pistols, Sublime, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Rob Zombie, and Cannibal Corpse. Favorite Games: Dead Space, Fallout 3, Mortal Kombat, Sonic the Hedgehog, Megaman, Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, Rock Band and Guitar Hero. The Stories ~Pirates of the Caribbean~ Esprit de Corps (In progress: 33/35) My first piece of writing for this fandom. A novel written to shed a different light the legends of the Fountain of Youth, which travels far beyond any map to World's End. Follow along as a Soldier of Chaos leads the Black Pearl's crew on an unexpected adventure into the depths of Hades and the tops of Mount Olympus to battle against corrupt Heathen gods, revealing a dark truth about the power behind Fountain of Youth's eternal waters. Inspired by Greek and Roman mythology, gladiators, and the price paid by those who seek out immortality for their own personal gain. Place of Torment (Complete: 5/5) I'm utterly fascinated with our dear Captain Jack Sparrow. In this short story, I document Captain Jack's experiences and turmoil within Davy Jones' locker. From the discovery of his conscience and crew of replicas to figuring out where those bloody peanuts came from! Scarlett's Letters (On hiatus: 1/5) The East India Trading Company invades the island of Tortuga, threatening the hangman's noose to it's inhabitants. Scarlett finds herself alone and in hiding at the Faithful Bride, awaiting for Jack Sparrow's return. Scarlett's letters of the incident accounts for a 5 month period between the time of invasion and Jack's return. An Unwavering Promise (Complete: 2/2) A short exploration of Hector Barbossa and how he came to love apples so much! Also explores the origins of Ragetti's wooden eye. Lack of Direction (Complete: 1/1) The one-shot that inspired Place of Torment, showcasing Jack's lack of control aboard his ship. Crimes of Jack: Piracy (Complete: 1/1) A young Jack Sparrow must decide whether the prize for the delivering of fresh, human cargo can outweigh his moral center. Written for the "Crimes of Jack" challenge on Livejournal. Tortugain Treasures (In Progress 40/?) A growing chest of 100 (more or less) word drabbles. Features a variety of pairings with prompts from the Broken Compass Forum Challenge and Livejournal weekly challenges. Love Me Two Times (Complete: 1/1) Jack Sparrow and his equally roguish father bed the same wench. NC17 for FemmeSlash, and sex. ~The Libertine~ Conquests of a Well-Bred Prostitute (In progress: 4/5) The ideas of every poet springs from his various muses. John Wilmot was known for his drunkenness, vivacious conversation, and lust for fornication. In this series of one-shots I will depict these exploits from his perspective. NC17 for sex/slash/vulgarity. ~Repo! The Genetic Opera~ Deadly Circumstances (Complete: 1/1) Dead bodies in an alleyway are gold to a certain GraveRobber. ~Collaborations~ Check out the collaborative fic under A Magnificent Garden Party called Mothers of the Caribbean. Each chapter is written by a different ffnet author about a fictional back-story for the mother of a different PotC character. My chapter is number nine on Jack Sparrow's mum entitled, "With Eyes of Burnt Onyx." Begun by Blood, by blood undone. A new Magnificent Garden Party collaborative fic that re-tells the tales of how some of the Aztec coins were recovered during the cursed years of the Black Pearl's crew. My chapter is number four, entitled "TORO de la MUERTE." ~Some Silly Things~ If you went to save Jack Sparrow just because you missed him, copy and paste this into your profile! If you are completely obsessed with and/or have a major crush on Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Lord Cutler Beckett, or James Norrington and are proud of it, copy and paste this into your profile and put the ones you like in Italics. If you've noticed that every person Elizabeth Swann kisses is killed, copy and paste this onto your profile. If you believe that Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann are NOT meant to be together, copy and paste this onto your profile. If you think that John Wilmot's self destructive behavior is absolutely scrumptious, copy and paste this onto your profile. If you want John Wilmot to stick his tarse up your petticoats, copy and paste this onto your profile. If you want to make passionate love to Don Juan DeMarco until milk leaks from you as though you had just given birth to love itself, copy and paste this onto your profile. If you want Don Juan DeMarco to give you pleasure, copy and paste this onto your profile. -- I, FreedomOftheSeas, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else. I have joined the review revolution. | |||||||||
