Author has written 5 stories for Les Miserables, Fairy Tales, and Shining.

Well, I've been thinking of getting an account here for a while because I hang out on the site so often and I'm very fond of giving reviews. Then, recently I wrote my first fan fiction ever and that decided it. I probably won't be submitting very many stories because I'd have to write them first and I don't get many ideas that have to do with other people's characters, heh.

Anyway, I'm an eighteen-year-old girl and I'm going to be a freshman in college very soon. I am aspiring to be a scenic artist and I've helped paint for a couple of productions already.

UPDATE: So, I just got a fictionpress account, so head over there if you'd like to see some of my non fanfic stuff. Mostly poetry and short stories. I'm under Mjulinir, same as here.

Sooo, more about me.

Fandoms that I Wish People Would Write For More Often: The Pied Piper of Hamlin (fairy tale), East of the Sun, West of the Moon (fairy tale)

Musicals that I Adore: Les Miserables (Which I've never seen in person, but I know all the songs by heart), Rent, La Boheme (Which is not a musical, but that's okay, I'm putting it here anyways), Into the Woods
Musicals that I Like-ish:
Cats, Evita, Little Shop of Horrors, 13, Grease (but I hate the movie.)
Musicals that I Really Don't Like:
Oklahoma, West Side Story, Oliver!
Musicals that I Really Want to See:
Man of La Mancha, Seussical the Musical, Wicked, Jekyll and Hyde, Spamalot
Musical Characters that I've Played:
Madame Thenardier, Eva Peron, Kenickie, The Witch from Into The Woods (boy, that was fun)

My Favorite Song: Come On Eileen by Dexy's Midnight Runners

My Favorite TV Shows: Law and Order:SVU, 48 Hours: Hard Evidence, Spongebob Squarepants, Stargate SG-1,

My Favorite Movies: Pitch Black, Rent, Samurai X, V for Vendetta, LotR, Back to the Future 1, 2 and 3, Snow Queen, Spirited Away, god knows what else...

My Favorite Video Games: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Shadow of the Colossus, Assassin's Creed, The Sims 2, Tropico 2, Any Legend of Zelda title, Oblivion, Halo...

My Favorite Books:...Here we go...The Woven Path by Robin Jarvis, The Innkeeper's Song by Peter S. Beagle, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, The Black Company trilogy by Glen Cook, The Wayfarer Redemption Series by Sara Douglass, The Enchanted Forest series by Patricia C. Wrede, The Ciaphas Cain novels by Sandy Mitchell, The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, The Wayside School books by Louis Sachar, A College of Magics by Caroline Stevermer, The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, The Ear, The Eye, and the Arm by Nancy Farmer, Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, Coraline by Neil Gaiman, The His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Nesbit, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling, The Cat Who Saw Red by Lilian Jackson Braun, London Labour and the London Poor by Henry Mayhew, The London Underworld: First Hand Accounts by Beggars, Thieves, and Prostitutes by Henry Mayhew and others

I Dislike: Harry Potter (Except for the first three books, which I really liked), chewed gum, making grammar mistakes, writer's block, math, and spiders.

I've got a lot of animals living at my house, currently six cats, five dogs, a snake, three turtles, three horses, and a donkey named Don Quixote (well, his real name is Donkey Oatie de la Muncha, but I figure that he has little enough dignity as it is).

Update:

Wow, I didn't really expect so many people to like that Risk thing. Guess I ought to write some more lol.

More about Les Mis:

My Fan Fictions are all based on the book because I've never gotten a chance to see the musical (I live in a small town where theatre is not really much of an option).

My favorite characters are Courfeyrac, Grantaire, Montparnasse, Feuilly (at least the way he's portrayed in my head), and Laigle.

Characters I don't really like are the bishop (because I was really pissed to find out that, after reading about him for eighteen chapters, he just disappeared from the story and was never heard from again) and Marius (am I the only one who found it odd that after seeing all of his friends die and being saved by Jean, he never bothered to think about them ever again? 'Cept for that one time when his grandfather asked about Courfeyrac). I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of them now

Everyone else was a-okay with me, though of course I liked some (Javert and Gavroche) better than others (Fantine and Combeferre (not that I disliked Combeferre, he just didn't really do much to hold my attention)). I did really like Mabeuf because he was adorable. I totally would have bought his book.

UPDATE August 15, 2008: I know I haven't posted a new chapter in a fairly long time, but I have a couple of excuses that are hopefully good enough for you guys.

!) Monday- 9:30 am: My horse, in a fit of brilliance, kicks me in the eye. This results in my eyebrow being split in half down to the bone. I spend seven hours in the Emergency Room getting my face sewn up. Eighteen stitches.

2) Tuesday: My eye swells up like a balloon, rendering my already horrible eyesight pretty much useless. My depth perception rolls over and dies, taking my peripheral vision with it. My eye, now a delightful shade of purple, will no longer open. Typing becomes much more difficult.

3) My mom, realizing that we haven't finished packing me for college, freaks out and I spend two days packing.

4) My computer, realizing that I need it to keep working until the 24th when my new computer arrives, starts coming apart at the seams. I now have exactly half a screen. The rest of it is an interesting shade of whitish-blue. Also, the casing pops open so that I can't close the damn thing.

Hopefully you will all forgive me when I tell you that I was planning out the next chapter of Let Them Eat Cake when my horse ripped the leadrope out of my hand and smacked me in the noggin.

UPDATE August 23, 2010: I know I haven't updated in a very long time, though I definitely should have. I've been having a lot of trouble with inspiration, although I fully intend to finish Let Them Eat Cake, hopefully within the next...year. School's been very distracting and I really need to reread the brick to get back into the right mindset. I'm going to spend a semester abroad in Mexico for the next four months, and hopefully once I get back I shall finish the story. Thanks to everyone for being so patient!
