Wonder who I am? I'm a girl, like almost half of the people on the planet. I like to read and watch TV-shows and movies, and occasionally I write, but I'm far more diligent at reading. At least online. I adore RL books with their hard and soft covers, and pages, and the smell of print, however they far too often are full of bullshit and predictable plots, so I stick to admiring them from afar. Fanfiction is better. What else? I'm free-minded, free-spirited and high maintenance. :)

Most of my works first appear on my LJ. As do my as of yet unbeta'id works and random challenge responses (some of which do not appear here) so if you're curious go there. & i'm more inclined to answer questions posted there. The link is under 'my homepage'.

IN PROGRESS :

# Interlude - based on Jumper movie. Response to the 100 Fic Ultimate Challenge at jumperslash comm in LJ. All 100 fics will be posted under ''Interlude". There definitely will be slash. Summary of the fic will be at the beginning of each chapter along with warnings and et cetera. At the moment it seems that all my fics are turning out sequent. I'll try to keep that so and in the end it might be one long Jumper story. I'm posting stories as plot bunny bites me so sometimes it takes a while.

# Imaginary Friend - crossover with Batman (of the Nolan movies). It is a rather heavy AU of Potterverse but mostly canon for Batman movies. It is a story about how a witch like Bellatrix could come to be with a Muggle. Of course said Muggle couldn't be anything less than extraordinary and their story is anything but simple.

Cygnus Black fought for the future of his family. Voldemort fights for dominance in the Wizarding World. Bellatrix is caught in the middle and Bruce was just a by-accident somewhere in the beginning of it all. There's just one more part left (ad infinitum, it seems). Coming soon. (Give or take a few months)

# Many Paths To Travel - is a Merlin fic and it's a tragedy from beginning and pain through and through. It's one of the darkest or at least one of the most depressive (and possibly triggering) things I've ever written which might explain why it gathered dust on my LJ for about two years before I had the strength to get to it again. I thought about putting it up in one or two large parts once it's finished, but it's heavy - I can't not divide it, it kinda kills me while writing it, so I figure it's better in smaller doses.

The title is paraphrasing from a line in Robert Frost's poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" specifically the part "But I have promises to keep And miles to go before I sleep". It generally refers to the fact that Arthur and Gwen have many things to accomplish before it's their time to go to Avalon, and even though their lives seem empty and wretched - it's Merlin and Morgana who died and no matter how they might wish otherwise - they're the ones who somehow have to find the strength to take another breath, another step.

The plot goes generally like this - Merlin dies. Morgana dies. But Arthur and Guinevere live and they have to go on without the people that completed them. It breaks them anew every day, but it never kills them.

Oh, and what I totally forgot to mention when I first published the story - it's AU starting from the end of S01. I have issues with later seasons.

Err. I've taken this story down until it is finished.

COMPLETE :

JUMPER:

Shooting In The Dark - based on Jumper movie. Griffin's point of view. Can be interpreted as slash.

Six Words - just a Jumper oneshot I felt like writing. Consider it slashy.

MERLIN:

Everytime - most is said in the summary and author notes. This one was quite unexpected, but pleasant surprise to write. Arthur/Merlin slash.

NCIS & NCIS:LA

In The Name (previously Further I Ran; Deeper I Fall (On LJ) - I long debated about putting this up here before finishing it, but at the moment it lacks just the one last tiny, itsy, bitsy bit (in case you want everything else up to it - it's on LJ where I usually post my stories first) - actually, it just lacks the happy end. Or unhappy, I can never quite predict how things will turn out.

Now the story itself is a crossover of NCIS (beginning 8th season) and NCIS:LA (right after the end of the first season) and explores team and family relationships and an alternate story line. Point is - laugh or cry, but family is important, no matter how old you are.

SHERLOCK:

Cruelty Without Kindness - the obligatory post-Reichenbach Falls fic. There is a second part/chapter in works. If it ever is worth publishing it will be added as another chapter. The title is a reference to the expression "To be cruel to be kind" which is after some song that I've never heard.

TORCHWOOD:

Call To Arms - CTA is a rather light Torchwood/Doom (movie) crossover which when sequels will follow will also stray more heavily in to the Doctor Who fandom.

About CTA - The title is after Angels&Airwaves song and seemed to describe Jack and Ianto's relationship excellently to me. CTA deals with 1st Torchwood season ep1 'Everything changes' through to ep4 'Cyberwoman' with occassional references to Doctor Who. CTA is about Ianto and Lisa, their background and Ianto's opinions about Torchwood as well as slowly developing relationship with Captain Harkness. CTA deals with many things from Doom - the facility, C24 & even skeleton Lucy, but it has/will not have any Doom characters - CTA is sort of prequel'ish to Doom - Ianto & Lisa are the people from before. Pairing to CTA and series is Jack/Ianto even if it has a slow start.

Wish You Were Here - is a sequel to CTA set in the same universe

About WYWH - WYWH (Wish You Were Here) is also named after a song, this one is by Rednex and well - it seemed to fit for all the longing, anguish, long walks and thinking Ianto's gonna do in this story while Jack patiently (or not so patiently) waits for him to come back to Torchwood. This story is going to cover Ianto's 'suspension' so it's still important in the large scheme of things and it really wasn't gonna be anywhere near as long as CTA - so much for that. Hope you enjoy it ;) WYWH is not the end of CTA universe - there eventually will be sequels.
