I am Elodie, which is the French name for "harmony", and I am a scribe, which is a old-fashioned word for "writer". Me as a concritter: I am a proud member of the Literate Union. Links explaining what that is will go up shortly. When I review a story, I concrit it. See? I don't flame. I concrit. Huuuuuuge difference there, people. Yet some people on this site don't get that when I report their story for rulebreaking or comment on their bad grammar and such. Which is annoying. But, enough whining. On to... Me as a person: Hokay, the fun part. I will say straight up I'm a Christian. I will also say I am a huge geek. For srs. I like Doctor Who, Batman Begins/TDK, X-men, LOTR, King Kong, Hellboy (the movies), Halloween, Star Trek: 2009...(takes a deep breath). For the most part, I consider myself a friendly, goofy person, all though I can have a bad temper (refer to The List). November 10th, 2009 On Fanfiction: I've had story ideas, but not the energy to really write them down. So, no news here. On LU: again, no news. Just that the person chosen to be concritted this week actually tried to join us, acting like a total jackass in the process. My good friend Ever heard of a Dictionary didn't appreciate that. Grr. Okay. Below is my The List. It's basically a...list for special people. People who make me so angry, I have to mention them... Irindiglo/Aqueen/Osiris Morning Star: Now here is one incredibly irritating person, and I've never even concritted her. You can see why here and here. She's ignorant, but willfully so--she never bothers to get her facts straight before jumping into an argument; she nearly always assumes that if there's a fight going on, the flamer/concritters are the ones in the wrong; she also uses bad grammar, yet gets defensive when anyone tells her they cannot understand her posts. My biggest peeve? She used a sockpuppet account to steal the name of a friend of mine, not giving it back to him until after he apologized to the people he flamed. Then, as you can see in the second link, she was caught. Not only did she deny what she'd done, she also defended her actions. The scary part is that this girl is supposedly eighteen or so years old, and yet she has not once ounce of maturity! It's ridiculous! I hope the one day, someday, she'll realize how awful she's being and stop. Strangely, however, I doubt it. | |||||||||
