Author has written 35 stories for Harry Potter. Hi y'all. My given name is Lauren. I'm 21 years old and live in New Orleans, LA. Besides writing, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, reading and listening to music. My writing is AU and generally includes CP. Most of the CP is parental type ( non-sexual). THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS. "The Punishment Should Fit the Crime" is a Snape mentors Harry fic. It does contain CP, but the CP is less explicit than my other works. In the interests of full disclosure: I intend on finishing this story, but I have decided to prioritize the others first. In other words, it will likely be a long time. My tastes have changed, but I can't just leave them that way. "Favor me with Silence" is centered around a D/s type relationship between Draco and Hermione. The CP is VERY EXPLICIT. Additionally, there is both overt sex and various implications throughout. This story is EMPHATICALLY oriented towards mature readers. "A Delightful Diversion" et al. is a series of AU one shots centering on an alternate timeline, wherein Voldemort arrives at Malfoy manor in time to make a deal with Harry. There is little sex, but in all other aspects it is very much geared to adults. I usually warn if the action is going to be unusally graphic or profane, but other than that, consider this your warning: ADD/TAV contains adult content, including but not limited to: explicit non consensual, non sexual corporal punishment of minors, extreme non graphic violence, ideologies the reader might find offensive, and characterizations that the reader might not agree with. To quote myself: "I feel I have an obligation to write characters consistent with both JKR's portrayl of them and the internal characterizations and logic of the stories themselves. This means sometimes characters might act in ways I would not endorse in real life. Please don't send me angry notes about how evil my characters are. The contract between writers and readers is a partnership . As a reader, you suspend disbelief and show understanding that my writing is not perfect. As a writer, I strive to make constant improvement and give you my best efforts, including the courtesy of being artistically honest. I would rather write a character who is an authentically bad person than one who is nice but unrealistic." I find the Death Eater ideology of Pureblood supremacy offensive in the extreme, for instance, but since the Death Eaters I write about are true believers, I feel it would be dishonest and insulting to my readership to downplay or ignore this aspect of their characters. I adore requests. For now, I'd like to limit it to our current cast, and scenerios that would be at least minimally plausible in the FMS or ADD/TAV universes.
