Author has written 2 stories for Tsubasa Chronicle. Welcome to my profile, TheWind'sBride's Chronicles! gender: female age: 19 nickname: April (for my birthday is the 1st of April. very creepy thing for a Tsubasa/xxxHOLiC addict, huh? means I'm either blessed or doomed. probably both.) favorite book: l'Aloutte by Jean Anouilh current music: Tapes 'n Tapes; Tom McRae favorite manga/anime charas: - Kurogane (Tsubasa RC) - Kato Yue (Angel Sanctuary) - Sei-chan (X) - Haruhara Haruka (FLCL) Well... I recently thought: God, my profile is boring. But I was so impressed with the creativity and humor some people wrote their profiles with that I hesitated for a long time. (No, I don't want to blame it on you... in fact, I was just lazy.) When I make mistakes, I'm sorry... I'm no native speaker, you know... oh and when someone knows where my icon is from or who owns it, please tell me! I found it years ago and now I can't give anyone credit for it, cause I forgot where I found it... First of all, a little introduction – which I do NOT OWN, it's from the novel The oval Lady by Leonora Carrington and the foreword „Loplop introduces the Wind'sBride“ by Max Ernst: „...is that the man who is called Loplop for his soft and grumpy behaviour, the Lord of all the Birds? (...) And the woman, across whose upper arm is winding a thin trace of blood – could that be the Wind'sBride? Horses at all windows: „Good day, cousin, may the good wind blow thee to us.“ Whether it is a good or a bad wind – I introduce to you the Wind'sBride. Who is the Wind'sBride? Can she read? Can she write correctly? What kind of person is she? She is made of her lighted life, of her secret, of her poetry. She has read nothing, but drank everything. She cannot read. But the nightingale saw her sitting on the stone of spring and reading. And though she didn't read out loud, the animals and horses listened to her in awe. (...)“ It's a very strange and insane book, I think you already guessed that much – but I do like it somewhat. Probaply because I'm a little bit insane too :P Ok... I try to think of some facts that may interested you, when I didn't already scare or bore you off at any rates. I am the cute/silly/crazy/moony/energetic little girl who: - is obsessed with music and her subwoofer system and is listening to music almost the whole day - tries to put over 400 books and mangas in her bookshelf and expects it not to break down under the weight although the wood trusses are already quite bended - rides by bicycle that often and regulary, she almost feels like she will forget how to walk soon - gets sick when she just smells the inside of cars and manages to even get sick by going by bus - is really, really bad at maths and is searching for a way to sue it - is in love with Star Wars since she saw it the first time as she was about 8 years old - is hopelessly in love with Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle since the angst showed up and also with xxxholic - adores Kaori Yuki, Natsuki Takaya and, obviously, CLAMP - is a nearly fanatic KuroganexFai shipper - writes (mostly somewhat insane) stories since she is able to write - has started reading even before she was able to read - yells at books/stories/movies when the people in there don't do what she wants them to - yells at electronic devices/random objects/people who aren't even there when they don't do what she wants them to - really likes to curse (in all languages she knows from good to poor, which would be five) , especially when she is in a good mood (yeah, I know that seems contradictory, but that's the reason why I wrote 'crazy' right after 'silly') - loves fantasy movies/books/comics but also most of the other genres (exept too much action or to much violence or to much kitsch... yeah, I know that differs and great order by the way -slaps herself-) - assumes she is genetically modified, has some strange illness that is unheard of or just lives in the wrong climate, because she almost NEVER freezes, wears always t-shirts and the coat in winter is just to avoid people looking at her even more strangely - is currently obsessed with the band London bLaCkMaRkEt and blames fate/hitsuzen for didn't make her live in England so that she could go to one of their concerts - whose desk is always messy and drowning in random papers - curses YouTube as much as she adores it - loves to write fantasy/fanfictions but sucks at writing newspaper articles or other boring advanced course stuff - hates when somebody else wants to use her laptop (I'm very affixed, I know) - hates it when she's got no internet access (I can really go mad then) - hates it REALLY when her electronical devices suck/do strange things without any particular reason (same here) - has read L'Alouette by Jean Anouilh and the Star Wars Trilogy (the old one, I hate the new ones!) over 15 times (sounds strange, I know) - is obsessed with House M.D. since the end of season 2 and likes the 4th season best - almost never knows which date it is and can even forget which season and year, if she is drawn into a book - really liked the movies Constantine, Twilight and watched Pirates of the Caribbean six times in the cinema - believes she wears a really strange and disturbing grin when she reads/watches something she adores and has a slightly sadistic nature which she hides whith her apparently friendly smile - loves English and enjoys to translate from German into English and vice versa - appears to be very clumsy sometimes but is far more stronger than most people would think before they experience the opposite and quickly change their mind - would consider beating someone up for trying to steal her bike and would sure kill someone for trying to harm her sister - still plays with her 10 year old brother (we have a very similar sense of humor... so it's also fun for me... sometimes, that is) - adores her beta readers (one for the German stories, one for the English, obviously) and couldn't do without them because she sucks at finding her own faults - always scribbles on her homework/desk/some poor papers when she dreams, is at the phone or just bored - loves to paint with oil-based paint and manages to smear it all over her hands everytime (not that I care) - is capable of giggling like crazy about things she already watched/read hundred of times - seems to be obsessed with these little ... (I really use them very much... too much perhaps... ah- I did it again!) think that's enough for now... to be continued | |||||||||
