Hmm. So this is where my rambling about the Allen rewrite used to be. Instead, you must be wondering what the hell happened to the tenth "chapter" of my story? Well, I decided that I was being incredibly stupid about the whole thing, and we all need our first story, right? The really crappy one with an underdeveloped plot and characters and relationships and whatever? So yeah, I'm gonna finish Allen. -cheering- I would get all corny about it and go on and on about how writing is like growing up, and you can't be perfect on your first try, and you have to write crappy at first in order to grow and write amazingly...but I won't. And I'm also going to notify you that, because I'm taking the plot that was originally meant for Allen and using it in my DGM Big Bang fic, His Silver Eyes, two changes will happen. One: Allen will be a bit shorter than I'd originally planned. Two: I'm gonna go through the whole thing and tweak stuff about the plot so that it all connects and makes sense, and so that I'm not reusing the plot from Allen in His Silver Eyes. Ugh. I'm not really looking forward to all the work, but I'd rather do this than admit defeat and give up on my firstborn child, Allen. (Heh... That could have multiple meanings... xD Not how I meant it, I assure you.) So yeah. Be expecting a renewed and refined version of our most beloved Allen in the future. =)

Adding on to this... Yeah. I honestly haven't even opened the file for Allen since writing that little tidbit there. Dx I apologize profusely to all readers who were really, really looking forward to the next chapter. (I still get alerts and stuff, and while making me extremely happy, they also make me feel guilty and kind of sad. I really need to finish that story.) So, anyway, I'll try and get my ass into gear, but I would advise you not to get your hopes up... It will happen EVENTUALLY, but probably not in the near future. T_T

However, I'm happy to report that His Silver Eyes is coming along quite nicely. :3 It's oddly entertaining to write 1st person in Kanda's POV... ;D I'm really proud of this one, so look forward to it next February (which is the soonest I'm allowed to post it, according to Big Bang rules)!! =D
