Author has written 13 stories for Silmarillion, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon, and Skies of Arcadia. I'm Ardil the Traveller, more commonly known nowadays as Air Pirate Ris - the main reason I haven't changed it here is because people recognise this name. I write on FicWad as Air Pirate Ris, as expanded readership is always a good thing - should anyone come here from that site and recognise my work, I'm not plagiarising anyone, it's mine! I'm a wannabe writer and physicist, and I'm interested in just about every aspect of how this amazing universe of ours actually works, a fascination that carries over into my stories, where I try as hard as I can to ensure that everything makes sense, at least within the rules of the story. I can be calm, sensible, and even philosophical, or alternatively completely hyper and crazy, but I keep that side of myself away from my stories, where I'd far rather be taken seriously. I also enjoy drawing, and a few of the results can be found here. I spend a fair amount of time roleplaying with my friend and fellow FF.Net author Sparky Lurkdragon, which is often one of the reasons my own work slows down. Occasionally, something we write might get polished up and posted under the name Erisalin... but given our track record (one chapter of one story posted since we opened the account), that's probably not too likely.
