Author has written 35 stories for Harry Potter, Lost, Heroes, Firefly, StarTrek: The Original Series, and House, M.D.. Hello! I'm eighteen, female, and am currently in my first year of college. I love creative writing, especially fanfiction. I've read fan fics for several years, but only began writing my own in the spring of 2009. I'd like to warn any of my readers right away that I also work on original stories. So when I take apparent hiatuses from my fanfics, it is probably because I'm particularly inspired to write my novel for a few weeks. Well, either that or I have a lot of essays due for college. _ I have several main loves in fan fiction. My first love was the Harry Potter verse, and I have produced the most stories for it. Harry Potter is really the only book series I read fanfiction about. (My favorite genre is fantasy adventure. Philip Pullman, Dianna Wynne Jones, Tamora Pierce, Garth Nix, Kenneth Oppel, Alexander McCall-Smith, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Jane Austen are some of my favorite authors.) I have a habit of watching an episode of a television show, then becoming obsessed with it by watching every episode several times, and reading tons of fanfiction. So far my list of obsessions has included Firefly, Heroes, Psych, Scrubs, House, Lost, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek The Original Series. I have plenty of ideas for fanfics for all of these shows, but it may take some time before I actually get around to writing those. (Other favorite television shows that I love but aren't interested in reading and writing fanfics about include The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Arrested Development, Monk, and Futurama.) My thoughts on my favorite 'verses... Harry Potter, book series: My favorite books in the series go thusly: the fourth, the third, the fifth, the first, the second, the seventh, and the sixth. Although there are parts of Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows that I enjoyed, overall they disappointed me, especially because of the deterioration of the character of Hermione in the 6th book, and the poorly written romance in both. My favorite characters are Hermione, Remus, Luna, the Weasley twins, and Sirius. Regarding pairings: I seriously dislike R/Hr, and am bored by H/G, so I always like trying rare pairings. My favorite pairings are Harry/Hermione, Hermione/Fred, Harry/Luna, Luna/Neville, Remus/Sirius, Remus/Severus, and Severus/Hermione. Star Trek, television series': I was raised watching Star Trek Next Generation, but have discovered in high school that I love the Original Series and Deep Space Nine even more. I sincerely believe that Kirk and Spock were meant to be together. Watch the original motion picture if you don't believe me. My favorite pairings from DS9 are Odo/Kira and Garak/Bashir. Heroes, television series: My favorite characters are Mohinder, Sylar, and Hiro. My favorite pairings are Sylar/Mohinder, Hiro/Charlie, and Matt/Daphne. Lost, television series: My favorite seasons were the second, followed by the third. My favorite Lost characters are Desmond, Locke, Sawyer, Claire, Miles, and 1st-season-Charlie(he went crazy!). My favorite pairings are Desmond/Penelope (seriously the best romance of the show) and Charlie/Claire(peanut butter...). I was rather disappointed by the 5th season, and hope the sixth will be better. Psych, television series: First of all, this is a simply hilarious show. I love Gus so much! For this show, I ship Gus/Jules and Shawn/Lassiter. House, television series: Such an amazing show! Hugh Laurie is spectacular in every season. The best pairing of this show is Wilson/House, and I maintain the hope that it may still happen in canon. I don't particularly like Foreman or Taub, I vaguely like Cuddy and Thirteen, I believe Chase has certainly improved over the seasons, I like Cameron although I dislike her being paired with House, and absolutely love Kutner. (Stacy? Who's Stacy?) I would have to say the 4th season is my favorite. Firefly, television series(shortlived): Why, Fox, why?! One of the most brilliant series ever created, thanks to the genius of Joss Whedon. My favorite characters would have to be Zoe, Simon, and Wash. I love the canon pairing Zoe/Wash, they are seriously the sweetest couple ever!! I dislike the pairing Mal/Inara, and am tolerant of Kaylee/Simon... But I much prefer the pairings Kaylee/Inara, Mal/Simon, and on occasion Mal/River! Regarding my ongoing stories... (yes, I know I'm working on too many at once, but I love them all so much!) Harry Potter 'Verse - Renewal... Hermione goes back in time to change everything - for Harry. Time travel fic, Harry/Hermione romance/adventure, will be multi-chaptered, estimated upwards of forty chapters. Eventually Harry/Hermione. Things Hermione Granger Didn't Learn From A Book... Fred and Hermione get together in the summer before her fourth year. Things are going to change... HG/FW, romance/adventure, multi-chaptered, estimated thirty or more chapters. Absolution... After Sirius' prank almost has Remus accidentally kill Snape, the young werewolf makes a decision: to leave Hogwarts. Before he goes, he has some things he wants to say to Snape - apologies, and an explanation. Remus/Severus romance/friendship and drama, AU, estimated to be eight to ten chapters. Alive Like Me... Zoe, a girl from the MWPP era, is hit by a poorly cast spell, and her soul is banished from her body. She keeps her memories and experiences, and is cast into a new body along with a fresh, clean soul. The other soul controls the body, but gets the advice (often unwanted) from Zoe. The body is that of Hermione Granger. The story will cover Hermione's (AU) years at Hogwarts - it will therefore be long and multi-chaptered, estimated forty chapters. Pairings completely undecided. Ordinary Angels... A Time travel story involving characters that I feel weren't thoroughly elaborated on in the HP books - Kingsley Shacklebolt and Percy Weasley. It will be multi-chaptered, estimated around thirty chapters. Harry and Hermione are key characters as well, though they are not paired together. Eventual pairings include Harry/Luna and Kingsley/OC. Hermione's pairing is undecided. An Unforeseen Excursion... Humor/adventure fic - Harry, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Ron, Lavender, Ginny, Dean, and the twins are all stuck on a desert island. Wacky hijinks ensue. Estimated to be between eight and fifteen chapters. Will be Harry/Hermione, Neville/Luna, Ron/Lavender and Ginny/Dean. Shall We Dance?... written with Spelunker - Romance fic - Harry/Hermione, set 4th year. Harry hears that Cho is going to the Ball with Cedric, and gets his act together soon enough to invite Hermione to go with him. Estimated to be between five and ten chapters. Definitely Harry/Hermione, other pairings unsure. Lost 'verse - Awakening... Adventure/romance, featuring Sayid, Jack, and my original character River Abelard(OC). Set to be around five chapters (for the first five days on the island), with planned sequels. Whee!... Completely crack, will update when I get inspired. Miles and Frank centric. Things that I'm writing with my friends being posted on their accounts - Hedwig's Great Adventure... written with Rune.Lady34 - This is the tale of a time-traveling owl, estimated to be around thirty to forty chapters long. It will chronicle at least several years of Harry's time at Hogwarts. Eventual pairing Harry/Hermione. Destined to Dream... written with Spelunker - This is the story of how a message from a future-Hermione was sent back to a young Harry, and accidentally delivered to Lisa Turpin, the previously unknown Ravenclaw. With incredible knowledge of the future, Lisa sets out to change things... but mostly for her own benefit. This is definitely Lisa-centric, but Harry will soon become a major character, as will Luna, Neville, Hermione, Remus, and Sirius. Future pairings may include Harry/Hermione. One last note.
