XD Serendipity (An Avatar: Last Airbender fic) 1ST CHAPTER UNDERWAY Eight year old Katara is captured by Admiral Jeong some months before the raid that would have killed her mother arrives. She is taken to the Fire Lord and spared due to the admiral's sympathy. Not only that, but she is allowed to reside within the palace walls on account of being the only waterbender within the Fire Nation. Developing a close friendship with Prince Zuko, she helps him through the loss of his mother and the lack of affection from his father and sister. However, a chance for Katara to return home presents itself and Zuko is left alone to face the worst tragedy of his life yet-- his scarring, banishment and the curse of hunting the Avatar. Will the encounter of a poor water tribe peasant change Zuko's fate? Zutara, naturellement. marauders, this is your read. Resolutions and Plans: 1. Finish 'In Time' asap, even with life bearing down... 2. Make 'Heart of a Storm' a bigger project. (15 more chapters at least). 3.
