Author has written 17 stories for Final Fantasy VIII. Back in 1999, there was this game called Final Fantasy VIII. I fell in love with it. I'm still in love with it. I have no excuse. I write things about it. Some people even like the things I write. I took an indefinite hiatus about 2004 or so. I'd been writing FFVIII fanfiction for five years, and I decided it was time to work on some of my original fiction, instead. I still write my own original stories, but I figure it's high time I came back and finished some things. So, I'm sweeping away the cobwebs here, and hopefully, will be putting in regular updates for another few years. For all the people who have asked and shown concern for my flagship story, All For One: I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you so much for e-mailing me, dropping notes in my livejournal, and even IMing me about this story. It is still very close to me and the fact it reached so many people moves me such that I can't express. I will be finishing it, in the coming few years, so your patience will not go unrewarded, but first, I think I need to get back into the feel of things with a couple one-shots. I have to do this simply so I can remember how to write FFVIII fanfiction; my original work has a very different tone and I write it in a very different way. I have to re-learn everything I've un-learned since 2004. So, thank you again for being so patient with me.
