I am a long time role-player and reader of books, who likes sci-fi and action films.

My first true, dedicated fandom was Farscape. Intelligent and dramatic sci-fi at it's best! It did things and went places no other sci-fi series did, much like my old favourite Babylon 5 did back in the day. I was crushed when it was cancelled, did my bit to try and get it back, and was overjoyed when it returned in the form of a mini-series, "The Peacekeeper Wars", to finish the story once and for all.

Thoughts over the end of season three prodded my brain mercilessly until I agreed to write Defeat Snatched From The Jaws Of Victory just to shut them up, and so I got myself this here corner of FanFiction.Net to put it on. I am also a member of a Farscape Yahoo group called the TheFarscapeLounge and have participated in a long-running RPG there for several years. This prompted me to fill in some of the gaps in my character's past, and thus Roads was born. Some day soon I'll finish it, as and when the inspiration takes me. I might even get round to writing the seven or eight small follow-up stories I have vaguely mapped out in my head...

Now, I also march to the Browncoat tune. I came to Firefly, even more unfairly cancelled, late in the day, and the news that there was to be a proper, full-on movie to continue the tales of the crew of Serenity was greeted with much cheering.

Once again, ideas began to spring up and badger me (heh) and soon I'll get round to writing the story the badgering has brought out, one featuring only original characters, none of whom own a ship or were ever a Browncoat.
