I stopped writing for FFnet for some time as a result of the purge, but I decided to rethink this for several reasons.

Firstly, despite genuine fear that my stories would be removed, none of them (thankfully) were.

Secondly, AO3 is not as well-known as FFnet, and I like to make my writing as widely available within reason (e.g: short of posting to every single forum available) because not everyone travels within the same circles, but FFnet has a toe in the pool that most readers swim in. I will continue to post and update on AO3, but I know not a lot-- or all-- readers who are interested will move there, because it can simply be too much work to switch from archive to archive. Let's face it-- it's hard to keep track of authors when you've got a dozen several different people on just as many archives. As a reader myself, I'm well aware of this.

Thirdly, I will continue to write as I always have. If that gets my stories purged, then I will approach that bridge when I reach it. But as none of my stories have, then I must conclude that for now, at least, I am safe. That the original uproar that caused the purging has passed over me, and like an ancient apocalypse that passes over a city once every ten years, snatching a few sacrificial victims before moving on. (I'm having a sudden flashback of Atlantis.)
