Hi Everyone in FanFiction World!

Welcome to the page of a Third Year Uni student/Entrepreneur who absolutely adores reading and wants to write, but has a hard time finding the time and inspiration to write. I absolutely adore Literature, especially period dramas: Pride & P and North&South being my favourites with Jane Eyre coming in second. Few books truly remain in my mind, except those which elicited a strong emotional response from me. Having said that, those which stick out in my memory are mostly from high school since I haven't had time to read a great deal since then: The Gospel According to Larry, My German Soldier, Probably Still Nick Swansen, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, Getting the Girl (aka When Dogs Cry - I think that's what is was originally called in Australia), St. Iggy, a Traveler in Time and probably more. A Wrinkle in Time is awesome as well, and the Georgia Nicholson series are pure fluff, but they are funny, light reading.

When it comes to television and movies, I reflect my roots. Being the interesting Brit/Canadian hybrid that I am (my accent more than reflects this), I love BBC's Robin Hood, the Vicar of Dibley, to the Manor Born, As Time Goes By, Miss Marple, as well as the Canadian RedGreen show(one of the most creative things that I have ever had the honour to watch; it is absolutely hilarious), Due South and MASH (props to the US). I've also recently discovered Spooks (MI-5 in America) and love it. Season 7 is airing right now and it's quite the callback to the Cold War.

Currently the only character who has actually drawn me out to write is the BBC's Guy of Gisbourne played by the incredibly talented Richard Armitage (don't believe me - watch North and South and notice the subtleties of his physical actions that so perfectly reflect what his character is feeling and thinking). I hope to write more surrounding him, but he definitely takes a certain turn of mind. Perhaps after I have rewatched Seasons 1 and 2, I'll be able to fulfill my "Gizzy need." Guy is an enigma. His character is complex and dark and there are so many things that you can do with him. And I love him, despite his baddie status. And for anyone wanting to direct me to the finale of Season 2, I know, I was there and I think that he was somewhat OOC considering what had happened the episode previous.

Anyhoo, much love to you all. I look forward to more stories and hope that I can reciprocate in turn.

Cheers,
