My name on the internet is Meme, although my real name is Melissa. I'm a catalan girl of 21 years old who started reading when she was really young, and she became interested in slash when she was 14. I've always loved reading and writing, I guess I'm just fascinated by the way words can transmit so much. I like reading, writing, music, cinema... I love languages and in fact I'm studying English Studies, because I'm particularly interested in English, that's why in this space I will publish small pieces of work that I write in English. As I said, I became interested in slash when I was 14. The first fandom I read about was Harry Potter, and the first pairing was Harry Potter/Severus Snape (Snarry, if someone doesn't know), and I think that's why it's my favorite pairing. The truth is that when I discovered slash I read for six months only fics, and I read a lot of different pairings, but for some reason Snarry has always been there, since the start. Now fanfiction in general is part of my life, I've met many people and I love the universe that has been created surrounding the fanfiction and slash in general. At a fandom level I'm a shipper, and I like non-canon pairings. As I said, my favorite pairing is Snarry, but I love many other pairings and fandoms, amongst them Lord of the Rings, Inuyasha, Sakura, House M.D, BBC's Sherlock, and many others. I also should mention that I like Real Person Slash and I write about it, I've written about the Kaulitz twins (Tokio Hotel), and Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, since they appeared together on the TV Series Sherlock.
