Hiya! I'm a 24 year old girl from Belgium! I've discovered fanfiction almost a year ago. Torchwood's second season had just ended and ... well what is a girl to do between series?!

There are so many gorgeously written stories on this site that I actually found myself interested in writing again, after nearly a decade of giving up. But my muses have visited me again and I wrote down my ideas in a little Torchwood fanfic. Torchwood is my main fandom, just because I adore the show and it's characters!

Needless to say I am a big Janto-fan. Can't help but "go all fangirl" when a brilliant scene with them comes on. Mainly because Torchwood itself is just so dark at times and it's nice knowing that midst all that darkness, there is place for a thing called love. Oh and it does help that both men are rediculously gorgeous. No way am I looking away when they decide to grope and kiss each other :P

Jack Harkness ... MISTER Charm! He's such a wonderful character. Ambiguous in so many ways. He's dark and light at the same time! I utterly adore Jack! He's the main reason I watch Torchwood ( and to some extent Doctor who). Torchwood would NOT exist without the wonderful John Barrowman. Seriously, is there anything this guy cannot do?

Ianto ... wow he's just such a amazing character. So anguished it's nearly painful. But so much hope and love as wel. And yes, I really do love those suits. GDL FTW!

Gwen ... Annoying at times but in all i adore her. she reminds me of the person I want to be. Humane, sumpathetic and always there when you need her. Hate the fact that they (aka the writers) push her forwards. Like, why on earth was she in charge when Jack left? Owen was clearly second in command so he was the one who deserved the spot. WTF?

And IN NO WAY is there a reason for her and Jack to get together. She has Rhys, who imo deserves so much more dedication, and should not be romantically linked to Jack. Granted, physically they are gorgeous together but I prefer a deep, platonic love between them. All together now: Gwack is whack!

Owen ... areshole to the bone but you can't help but love the guy. Mister Sarcasm. And Burn Gorman ... what a talent!

Toshiko ... how can you not like the girl? I want her wardrobe!! And her shoes!!

Martha ... prefer her at Torchwood than I do as the doctor's assistent. She's alot more calmer, confident and smarter. Then again, so is Jack.

Rhys ... ah the idiot. Love him. Kai's awesome.

the writers: F@#?! bastards! Why on earth would you kill off Owen and Tosh. Seriously, first Owen. He's a knobhead throughtout series 1, then becomes nicer in series 2. I just start to like him, you kill him off. Bring him back JUST to have him killed off again? WTF?? And Toshiko ... grrr.

Plus, the finale was disappointing imo. Compared to the others it was not as good. I would've preferred a direct confrontation between Jack and Gray and not Gray going after the team. Let the hero, for once, be a hero. The cluster bombs formed a distraction for the team and for me. It distracted me from the plot. Then again Gray was fit and John Hart was back. So not all bad.

Not all is Torchwood related but some is.

My Fanfiction achievements:

- Finished my first multichapter story called "Come what may"

- Began working on my new series of one shots called "Torchwood Bedtime stories". Managed to surpass the 50th chapter and 300th review! THANK YOU!!

- Began working on "The day I stopped dreaming" and got nominated for a "Children of Time"-award. Nomination got carried over to the next round, beginning 5th of march!

- 15/03 Finished writing "The day I stopped dreaming" today. Sigh, I really loved writing this piece and it makes me sad to know that it's over. Might do a little sequel on how Ianto deals with Jack leaving him in the same style as I wrote "The day ...". (thanks to the lovely Candybree for inspiring this!). But nothing concrete. I've got one fic planned and nearly penned but am waiting for my beta to reply. Also, I've got some ideas for a few Bedtime stories! All I can say is that for some twisted reason, I will miss writing "The day ...". Even though Ianto is so sad in this piece, I love to work with his thoughts! And there is nothing like Ianto-angst!!

-16/05 My first flame review! I don't know if its a thing to be proud of but still ... This is what an anon (charming isn't it?) said about "my" Ianto in "The day I stopped dreaming"

"I just started to read this because it's nominated for an award, but Icouldn't get further than the first chapter. Incredibly out of character; Ianto feels like an emo 13-year-old here, and Jack's not remotely like himself either."

Personally I disagree but I wouldn't have written them like that if I had thought them to be OOC. Ok, Jack may be a bit softer than he would be but I think I've tried to portray Ianto's sadness and despair as good as I could've. This story is inspired by the famous quote in "Greeks bearing gifts". The shame is that the person did not leave behind any contact info. I really would like to know what he/she thought was OOC. I don't mind criticism but I do need to know WHAT the problem was. Besides Ianto acting like a 13 yr old emo. Well, I ask you ... how would you react to such a tragedy? Anyway, if you're reading this ... please do elaborate. If anyone else has an opinion on this, don't hesitate and click the pm button :)

How else will I get better if I don't know what's wrong?
