Author has written 4 stories for Robin Hood, and Robin Hood BBC.

I don't know what all can be said about me. I write, read, hang out with friends. Writing is my true passion in life. I don't think anything makes me happier than when I have a HUGE spurt of inspiration, and can sit and write for hours without getting stuck.

Fave Book: Maid Marian by Elsa Watson

Fave Place to Hang Out: the Library (I've exhausted all the Robin Hood books in my library and it's partners)

Fave Time of Day: Evening

Lucky Number: 17 (I've won several radio contests by being caller 17)

Fave Color: Green

Fave TV Show: Robin Hood BBC (Well, no duh)

Awesome Bands I Love: Hawk Nelson, Skillet, Superchick, Taylor Swift, tobyMac...

Things I Despise: marching band, seafood, books with no plot, people who think they're all that, muggy summer days, and slow computers.

Fave Movie: Titanic

Movie I am Looking Forward To: Robin Hood (Russell Crowe is doing it and it comes out May 2012)

Animals I Would Hug and Kiss (literally): Snakes, frogs and toads, cats, bats, Dachsunds, lizards... the list goes on.

If I am ever published for real (which is a personal dream of mine) I will be under the name of Gwyn Zwielly. That is how you will know me.

So far I've only posted In the Shadow of the Oak. I've been working on it for almost three years now. I have over 150 pages just waiting to be put on this site. But I need reviews first, so I can know that people are going to want to read it. That's a MAJOR hint to anyone who's reading this. I'm working on another Robin Hood fic. It's modern since I love those so much! It'll be pretty fun to write. Although In the the Shadow of the Oak will be a complete novel, this will be just a fanfic.

I was introduced to Robin at a young age, for the longest time I rewrote the story in my head because I wasn't happy with the way it had been originally presented to me. Marian being helpless was the main problem as I got older; I thought that such a main character in an adventure/action story should have more of a part in that action, and maybe more of a personality period. I think a lot of other people feel that way too. Just look at all the Robin Hood fanfics and you'll get that the idea of a more characterized and rebellious Marian is being put into light. I think she deserves that.

I love the BBC series!! I'm not happy with seaeson 2 finale though. I hope Robin gives Gisbourne a slow and painful death! Marian didn't deserve to die and that's just it. I haven't seen seaseon 3 yet, I have to wait for it to come to DVD in America first...grrr... HURRY UP!! Oh yeah, and you might want to know that when I watched Marian die I had to stop the DVD so I could curl up in bed and sob. I say this in all seriousness!! I'm over emotional about Marian in general and watching her die made me imagine every Marian I've ever known dying and it about killed me.

Thanks to everyone who got me started on this!! I think you know who you are... You know what? I'll mention names...

Mary!! If you're reading this you should know that I apologize for all those raw, SERIOUSLY RAW, beginnings and first drafts. It helped that you always told it was wonderful, even when it wasn't. That really helped. The reason for that is because I was never sure if what I was writing was worth it. You're the local Marian. You win the Amazing Best Friend award.

Kirsten, I'll mention you too... (You are the one who made me want to start writing, you know.) Even if you barely got to read it, you kept me going. Thanks. You made writing cool for me. Although now I don't care if it's cool or not! I'll also tell you that the reason it took so long for you to read it was because I didn't think it was good enough yet. So that's why it took a year for you to get to read anything. Sorry.

Emma, of course! It's wonderful to be surrounded by writers. Remember when I gave you the first chapter at Phys Ed a year or two back? You told I was an amazing author and didn't know how I did it. (I'll have you know that your stuff is as good as mine, if not better!) Yeah, well, when you told me that I about melted because a few days before that I was told that Robin Hood was a dumb topic and her thing was better. I was still stinging from that, and I needed to be told that I was writing something worthwhile. I knew that I liked what I was writing, I knew Mary liked it. I guess I just really needed to know that someone (other than my bff) thought I could write well, and that my subject was good. Whenever I'm down about my writing I think of what you said, and I keep going. You have no idea how many times you've saved my novel. THANKS!!

Also, Mountian Dew and chocolate!!

Okay, totally didn't think I'd put that much in. Oh well. Guess that's it.
