Right now, I'm working on things quite other than Ed,EddnEddy, or any other fanfic. I haven't watched the show in ages---at LEAST a year, literally---so my characterizations of the lads are just my memories and what I chose to do in the fic. I'm still procrastinating finishing it, but at least I decided to play and write a side-story; it's on my website.

Creatively, I'm working on a drawn-story exploring where I am, and have been, psychologically... "Mental Paths" ... And, the 'supposed-villain' story's character Baelian, who I have been doodling to no end the last few days. If I ever get down to the library, I'll start scanning the pictures.

Writing, though, I've been neglecting. Roleplaying has always been one of my favorite places for writing in, as I have the basic structure, and a direction to go in.

Hmm... if only this site wasn't purely fanfics. Well, I might post some stuff over on FictionPress, and/or my website.

I repeat, if you want to check out the relatively-recent things I've been doing, look through my website. It has enough wandering idea fragments for you to ask me about----seek clarification about the story and where I'm going with it! It helps me to write.

What do you know? I updated!... Or, at least, I'm getting it closer. Slowly but surely the chapters will be fixed up and put up, and so on. Plus it seems that TSoE's got 100 reviews here... Most, most excellent.

Since other people seem to do this sort of thing, I thought I'd give a nod to my 100th review over there, from FanofDa'EdBoyz... Considering some of the questions you've been added, I feel tempted to direct you to where I've got the later chapters stored. At the same time, though, I am changing some elements...

In answer to your questions, since I realize that the next update may not be for a while;

I prefer long chapters because I read extremely quickly, and short chapters tend to bore me--just writing for how I prefer to read. If nothing else, it means that people who read less quickly can have longer projects on their hands when they feel they've nothing to be doing.

The description of a large dog as compared to a wolf? Well, after all, some huskies look a great deal like wolves--I was assuming that Edd would think of a dog first anyway. And I put my attempt of a picture up on DeviantArt.

As far as the social structure between the Kankers.. Lee does seem to be the boss, the majority of the time; I rather thought that the basic structure stays the same in here, even though they do behave OOC more than I like. Marie is my favorite among them, thus far... But, hey, as far as a pairing with Edd goes, she makes more sense than May or Lee. shrugs

Plank is a mystery. Heck, I'm nearly to the end of the story, and he's STILL a bit of a mystery. It'll get explained eventually.

Once I'm further along in the updates, I've got a side story that I'm writing--thanks partly to the interpretation that was presented by the fanfic of the story--for explaining where I see 8-3-2 (the world with the vampire-Kevin) came into play from.

Hmm, Marie? That's right, they still didn't quite get around to it... Essentially, Edd was bitten at some point in the past. The testing was for a vaccination, not a cause. As far as Marie goes... Eh, well, we'll get to that eventually, too. Yep, everything will be made clear... eventually. ;)

"Read and Review"... Well, I don't like to say that in the summary. It's more entertaining for me for the Eds to be asking. That, and it's a hint for people who just read the first chapter to keep reading...

As my account at http://kyinsky.deviantart.com should point out, I have a Beta now! Whoo hoo! Having another person peering over the chapters, even if just for grammatical and plot consistancy purposes, should definately get me going.

Okay, then... No, no new chapters yet. Please wait patiently. I've got an epiphany towards writing coming in my english class, I know it, and I want to wait until then before I start re-writing everything. That sound good?

In the meantime, though, go to Deviant Art dot Net! I'm starting to put pictures up over there, and I'm completely willing to take requests on scenes! If you need to reread any chapters of TSoE to find a good one, the chapters should all be posted over at my Angelfire site... That should be around this page somewhere. Who knows? Maybe some good recommendations will get the juices flowing? wink wink

I've just saved the reviews and text of both 'Angel of Death Reborn' and 'Luke I am your Ed'... and deleted them from Fanfiction.net.

'Angel of Death Reborn' I don't think I'm ever going to do much with, sadly... But considering that for the last few months I've been particularly frustrated with The Secret of Edd, it's likely that I won't have any real updates for a while. All I've been doing as far as writing are school assignments, the role-playing boards, and occaisionally re-working the first few chapters of TSoE. I actually think it'd be a lot faster to update if I had someone who could Beta for me, and I Beta for them, but as such a set-up hasn't come up yet... My stories have been left updated for exactly half of a year, now.

For now I'll be rewriting The Secret of Edd. It's the plot that I liked the most, and that I feel I can do the most with in the long run. I justremembered, too, that I did still have the other things listed here.

The Explanation I'll probably never finish. It's easy enough to gather tidbits of information, but to try explaining the few remaining characters--Jonny, Plank, and the Kankers--is a project I don't have any drive to complete. I would want to do a good job, and as it is now, I have things I should be devoting myself to far more--specifically the entire college application process.
'Luke I am your Ed' has my interest, mostly because people seemed to quickly like it. To fully do that story I'll need to find the text of all the movies that have come out--if anyone could direct me to a site I could find that at, I would be very grateful.
