I'm in my twenties and I adore fanfiction. I'm one of those people who's never satisfied with how much canon has to offer. So I always appeal to fanfiction to satiate my thirst for the characters who are most dear to me. I will read almost anything as long as it's mildly interesting and I'm acquainted with the universe. My favorites section is strong proof of that. I dabble in writing here and there, but I never have the dedication and stamina required for writing a proper story, though ideas I have a plenty.

I absolutely adore Harry Potter and I have a love-hate relationship with A Song of Ice and Fire. Most days it leans toward love but it's complicated. I despise Twilight, but I've read and I guess I'll keep reading fanfic for it. Some of it is very well written and some of it is so bad, it's good. I'm indiscriminate, I'll read them all. I have a major addiction to Pride and Prejudice fanfic and it's excruciating because it's incredibly difficult to find stories written in a faithful Austen voice. As for the characters, an OOC Darcy and a damsel-in-distress Lizzie are enough to make me want to defenestrate my laptop.
